Gwen was sat in her apartment, slowly filling out some 'very interesting' paper work when suddenly a knock was heard on her door.
"Gwen," Harry's voice called followed by another knock, "Gwen," Harry repeated before another knock, "Gwen."
"Harry," Gwen said in an amused tone as she stood up and walked over to the door, she opened it to reveal Harry who was standing in his usual civilian clothes. "can I help you?" Gwen asked.
"More than likely," Harry nodded as he looked at Gwen who had her hair done in a ponytail and was wearing pink pajamas and a blue sleeping robe. "did you just wake up?" Harry asked.
"No, these clothes are just comfortable." Gwen shrugged. "So, is everything okay?"
"No, I'm having problems dealing with people, fix it." Harry replied.
"What?" Gwen blinked.
"I'm having problems with Natasha and Sif, help fix it." Harry said before pausing. "Please." He added.
"Not that I am saying no, but I can't help but be curious about why you're coming to me with your problems." Gwen finished.
"Tell me, does this sound familiar?" Harry asked before speaking in a perfect imitation of Gwen's voice. "'Harry, you need to talk about your feelings.'" Harry paused before continuing to speak in his normal voice. "You want it, you got it, you're in this for the long run now Gwen. But in all seriousness you're pretty smart and I need some help."
"Why can't you ask the others?" Gwen said as she stepped to the side to let Harry come in.
"Well, for a few reasons." Harry said as he entered, he continued speaking after Gwen closed the door. "Thor is busy spending time with Jane and Barton is off on an assignment, this isn't the sort of problem I can talk to Fury and Hill about. Tony is more than likely not going to be helpful in this situation and is probably going to make things worse, be a smartass or both."
"He does have a habit of doing that." Gwen nodded as the two sat down on Gwen's sofa. "Why me though?"
"Well because last time I talked with you, it helped. Normally I would talk with Natasha or Padfoot but seeing as the problem involves Natasha I couldn't talk to her, and Padfoot just kept laughing." Harry replied.
"What about Cap?" Gwen asked. "Why don't you talk with him?"
"He's a virgin." Harry answered.
"What?"
"Okay, let's go from the start." Harry suggested.
"That would probably be best, just take your time and tell me when you're ready." Gwen said in a soft voice. "There's no rush, take a deep breath if you need to and…"
"Natasha's gone crazy and is trying to make me a harem." Harry blurted out.
"Okay… what?"
...
"And then I asked for some time to think about it," Harry finished a short while later, having told Gwen about everything that had happened between himself, Natasha and Sif. "so what do you think?"
"Well, I am curious about why you're acting so worried?" Gwen admitted. "Most people would be over the moon to have two women agree to share them."
"Well I am hardly normal, am I?" Harry pointed out. "But that's not the point, I barely know what to do with one woman, what the fuck am I supposed to do?"
"Well what's your relationship experience?" Gwen asked.
"Mostly just a lot of one night stands." Harry admitted. "I came from a place where you were never guaranteed to survive tomorrow, most of us didn't bother trying to form relationships. If you didn't die, then it was still possible that the other person would die."
"That… sounds horrible." Breathed Gwen.
"It was the way of life," Harry shrugged. "I'd say you get used to but it was mostly just people had stopped bothering to complain. Anyway I was barely handling Natasha."
"Can anyone ever really handle the Black Widow?" Gwen asked, raising an eyebrow at Harry.
"…"
"…"
"…"
"…"
"I was barely able to survive Natasha," Harry amended. "I don't know if it's in the best interest for any of us to have this type of relationship."
"Look, I am in no way an expert in relationships." Gwen admitted. "My last relationship ended badly."
"What happened?" Harry asked.
"Guy liked redheads better," Gwen shrugged. "anyway all I can say is think about it, talk to Natasha and Sif. Discuss your feelings with each other and then just… for lack of a better phrase, 'go with what your heart tells you'." Gwen finished.
"Hmm," Harry hummed thoughtfully. "that's better than nothing." He added as he stood up. "Thanks, I suppose. I'd best be off now, tell me if there's ever anything I can do to thank you."
"I'll keep that in mind," Gwen smiled. "bye Harry."
"Bye Gwen." Harry said before he teleported away.
