Ch. 162

"That man has no regard for lawn maintenance." Tony said as Harry waved his wand over the grass to return it to normal, the three began walking as Tony clicked on a remote. "I'm going to miss him though, and you two are going to miss me, there are going to be a lot of manful tears."

"I will miss you though Tony." Cap said.

"Thanks." Tony nodded before looking at Harry.

"I'm not saying it." Harry refused.

"Ah come on." Tony grinned just as his car pulled up alongside him.

"I'm not saying it." Harry repeated.

"Fine, fine, act like you're an emotionless badass, you little tsundere." Tony said as he rolled his eyes. "I love you too. But it's time for me to tap out." Tony said. "Maybe I should take a leaf out of Barton's book, get a farm for Pepper and hope nothing blows it up." Tony said, commenting on Barton who had chosen to go into retirement.

"The simple life?" Cap asked in a slightly surprised voice.

"You'll get there one day." Tony said.

"When has life ever been simple?" Harry snorted. "We can't even last five years without some sort of world ending event that we have to stop. Even then the rest of our lives are hardly normal."

"I'm sorry to say it but I do agree with you, I don't think being with a world class super spy and a super powered Asgardian warrior at the same time counts as simple," Tony remarked. "also how does that work?" He couldn't help but ask.

"I'll tell you once I find out." Harry responded, he was also wondering how it worked. So far he had been able to work out that making them happy equalled sex, making them both happy at the same time resulted in threesomes and that was about it.

"Anyway, you'll both get there one day." Tony said as he entered his car. "Are you both alright?" He asked the two.

"I'm home." Steve said as he looked at the base.

"Harry?" Tony asked Harry.

"I'm… not sure." Harry admitted. "Never in my whole life have I ever truly thought I was alright, but now… now if you just remove the world ending events and shit, then… I think… I am alright."

"You'll get there, buddy." Tony said. "You'll both get there, sooner or later. I'll see you both around." Tony said before he drove off.

"Harry," Steve said once Tony was gone. "can I ask you something, something important?"

"Yeah, what?" Harry asked.

"Well… what if you put a hammer on the table and try to lift the table instead of the hammer?" Steve asked, looking at Harry.

"You see… questions like this are why you are the leader." Harry smiled.

.....

Harry and Steve were walking down the hallway when Gwen and Natasha began walking alongside them, Gwen was holding a tablet. She handed it to Steve who began looking it over.

"How do we look?" Harry asked.

"Well we're not the twenty-seven yankees." Steve said.

"Without the sport please." Harry said as Steve looked over the information.

"They're good, but not a team." Gwen replied.

"Well let's whip them into shape." Natasha grinned just as Sif arrived and walked with them.

The trio walked through some doors, they saw Vision along with Falcon in his Falcon suit, Rhodey in an improved version of his War Machine suit, Pietro would have been here but he was still resting in the hospital wing from his injury. Though what the team did know was that Tony had made him a new suit, a bullet proof blue-greyish body suit with the same design as the shirt he wore during the battle of Sokovia. It had light weight white metal pads on his shoulders, elbows and knees along with white metal wrist gauntlets that connected to his fingerless gloves metal gloves. His knee pads connected to his white shin pads which connected to his white trainers. All of the white part was made out of a special light but tough metal that Harry had put lightweight charms on.

Wanda floated down to the ground in her new uniform. This uniform consisted of a black leather suit with a red corset, and a red leather jacket over it that had two strips down the front. It also included elbow high black leather fingerless gloves, and tall, heeled boots with red piping on top of them.

"Honestly, we could do worse than this lot." Harry commented.

.....

The next day Natasha arrived at Harry's apartment, she walked in and saw him petting Padfoot as they both watched TV.

"Harry," She said, announcing her presence, "you wanted to see me?" She asked.

"Woof." Padfoot jumped off of the sofa and rushed towards her.

"Hi boy." She smiled as she petted him while he rubbed his head against her neck.

"Natasha," Harry said as he stood up and walked over. "thanks for coming. I'm going to go on a date with Sif in a bit."

"I know, I'm the one who helped her get ready." Natasha smiled.

"I just wanted to talk to you about something important." Harry admitted as he took her hand and guided her towards the sofa, they both sat down. Natasha pretended not to notice Padfoot leaving the room.

"What is it?" Natasha asked.

"Alright, this might not be the best way to start a conversation but do you remember when you told me that you couldn't have kids?" Harry asked. Natasha blinked and looked at him for a moment, before she replied.

"You are right, that is not the best way to start a conversation, but yes, I do remember." Natasha said. When she was young she endured both an education and indoctrination into the world of spy-craft. She excelled in the strict training environment and soon became regarded as a master spy and one of the world's greatest assassins. It wasn't all fun and games, there had been one point where she was forced to execute an innocent man, which still haunted her, even to this day. Her ruthless effectiveness in later years earned her the Black Widow mantle. As a final ceremony to complete her training, she was sterilized, as to avoid any distractions and focus solely on her missions, something she deeply regretted. "Why do you ask?"

"I… think I have a solution." Harry said before he teleported away, he teleported back a second later and was now holding a small vial in his hand that was filled with a green liquid. "In my old world there was a potion that could fix that, but the problem is that it wouldn't work on you because you are not magical. I spent some of my private time trying to come up with a new potion that would work on non magicals, and I wasn't getting anywhere until I was able to get Thor to send me a few plants from Asgard, plants that don't grow on Earth. I wasted about half of them but I was able to get the potion right."

"You… are you saying that that…" Natasha paused and gestured to the vial. "… could fix me?" She asked in a slow voice as she looked back and forth between the two.

"I… I think it can, if I'm wrong then nothing will happen beyond temporary indigestion and maybe a small headache, but if I am right then it could fix it." Harry said.

"You… you want to have kids with me?" Natasha asked, looking teary eyed.

"I want to give you the option," Harry replied as placed the vial in her hand and gave her a kiss on the forehead. "have kids, don't have kids, it's up to you. But I do think that you should have the option." Harry said as he stood up. "I'm going to go on my date with Sif now, goodbye Nat." Harry said before he turned and left.
