39. A Mage And A Knight (2)

We reached at the inn before evening and on our way we ended up encountering yet another band of rogue shifters which Lyall and I took care of.

I could use the intermediate spells of Dragon's Magic but it still wasn't enough if I had to gain an upperhand in future against the other species.

I took a bath in my original body and sat at the window looking at the freezing mountains that guarded the Kingdom of Sestia from the Shapeshifters' land. The white snowcapped mountains seemed familiar from the mountain range I had seen in my past life. Still treading through them and attacking the human side was quite a life-threatening and foolish thing to do.

I had decided to come to North as a wandering Mage in order to train in the wilderness and also have a look at the situation over here myself.
