The chaperone was usually provided for the unmarried girls entering in the society and it was normally a woman. But considering that these young men were to go to the different country for a celebration they needed someone older than them or rather someone who was experienced than them in the matters of politics and society in general.

I wasn't the type to become someone's chaperone for obvious reasons, but then again, Ocean was old and experienced enough to be Davian's chaperone.

"Prince Davian!" I declared, "I'll be your chaperone."

Davian looked at me with hopeful eyes.

"Really?"

I sighed, resigned as the timer was still ticking.

"Yes,"

"Thank you, Master!" He beamed.
