Reassurances

As lunchtime approached, Cora decided to explore the company cafeteria, since Derek had told her he was going out with Liam.

She wandered through the bustling halls, following the scent of freshly cooked meals and the hum of conversations. When she arrived at the cafeteria, she was surprised by how large and welcoming it was.

The aroma of various dishes filled the air, and the sound of chatter made the space feel alive.

Cora picked up a tray and began scanning the different food options when, out of the corner of her eye, she spotted a familiar face.

Fiona was also grabbing a tray, looking for what to pick. Cora's face lit up with a smile, and she made her way over.

"Fiona!" Cora greeted cheerfully.

Fiona looked up, surprised but pleased to see her. "Cora, what are you doing here?" Fiona asked, and Cora grinned.

"Let's just say I'm on a little mission today. But before I spill the beans, how about we have lunch together?"
