Chapter 8: The Chaotic Encounter with Yugito!

Team 7 made their way down the snowy streets of the Land of Iron, cloaks draped over their shoulders to ward off the biting chill. The crunch of snow beneath their boots was the only sound, with Yuto walking between Naruko and Hitomi, their breath forming faint clouds in the icy air.

"What do you two want to eat?" Yuto finally asked, breaking the silence.

Naruko's eyes sparkled as she grinned. "Ramen, of course! We haven't had Ichiraku's in forever!"

Hitomi rolled her eyes, her tone laced with sarcasm. "Ramen again? You're obsessed. Let's eat something better—like barbeque. It's been ages since we've had a proper meal."

Naruko glared at her. "Ramen is quick, cheap, and delicious! Why waste time on anything else?"

Hitomi crossed her arms. "Because barbeque is fulfilling, and it doesn't make you smell like broth for hours."

Yuto sighed, rubbing the bridge of his nose. 'They're at it again. Why can't they agree on anything? I should've just suggested we eat snow.'

"Alright, enough," Yuto said firmly, stepping between them. "We'll eat barbeque now, and pack ramen for later. Deal?"

Naruko pouted, her arms still crossed, while Hitomi smirked slightly. Both girls reluctantly nodded.

"Fine," Naruko muttered.

"Fair enough," Hitomi added.

Their sensei, Kakashi, trailed behind them, his attention seemingly glued to his orange book. Despite his relaxed posture, Yuto caught the occasional flicker of Kakashi's eyes scanning their surroundings.

The barbeque restaurant wasn't far, but its location surprised them. It sat at the center of five converging pathways, making it an ideal meeting spot for groups. As they approached, Yuto's eyes narrowed.

"Looks like we're not the only ones who thought of eating here," he muttered.

From the other pathways, four additional teams converged on the restaurant.

To Yuto's right stood the team from the Stone Village. He immediately recognized two figures: Kurotsuchi, Onoki's granddaughter, and Han, the Jinchuriki of the Five-Tails.

Directly ahead was the Lightning Village team, led by none other than their Jounin Sensei Yugito Nii, the Two-Tails Jinchuriki.

From the left, the Sand Village trio—Gaara, Temari, and Kankuro, one of which was Yuto's mission targets. Yuto's gaze lingered on Gaara. 'So, it begins...'

The final team shocked Yuto the most: the Water Village team, led by Zabuza Momochi himself. Standing next to him was Haku whose gaze met Yuto's briefly, and he saw the faintest flicker of recognition.

The five teams stood in silence, the snow swirling around them as they sized each other up.

Naruko leaned toward Yuto and whispered, "What's with the staring contest? Can't we just eat already?"

"Stay focused," Kakashi murmured. "These are your competitors for the exams. Observe them carefully."

The silence stretched on, heavy with unspoken challenges. Suddenly, a voice shattered the tension.

"DYNAMIC ENTRY!"

A green blur shot through the air, and Team 7 instinctively stepped aside just in time to avoid the incoming whirlwind.

Might Guy appeared, his booming laugh echoing through the streets as he launched a powerful kick. Unfortunately, his target wasn't prepared—his foot collided squarely with Yuto, who was caught completely off guard.

Yuto was sent flying directly toward the team from the Lightning Village. His trajectory ended in disaster—he crashed straight into Yugito, their lips accidentally pressing together.

The world seemed to freeze.

"What… just happened?" Naruko whispered, her voice laced with disbelief and rising anger.

"Did Yuto just...?" Hitomi muttered, her Sharingan flaring to life.

Yuto scrambled to his feet, his face pale as he waved his hands frantically. "This wasn't my fault! I swear! It was Guy Sensei's fault! Dynamic Entry! Please forgive me!"

Yugito's face turned an alarming shade of red, her embarrassment quickly morphing into fury. Her claws began to elongate, and a dangerous aura emanated from her.

"You...!" she growled, her voice low and threatening.

"Now, let's not do anything rash—" Yuto stammered, taking a step back.

But Yugito lunged, her speed terrifying. "I'M GOING TO CASTRATE YOU FOR STEALING MY FIRST KISS, YOU PERVERT!"

"WAIT, IT WASN'T ME! AND THAT WAS MY FIRST KISS TOO!" Yuto screamed as he bolted down the street, Yugito hot on his heels.

Naruko's hair whipped around her as her chakra flared dangerously. "When he gets back, he's DEAD!"

Hitomi scraped her kunai together, sparks flying as she whispered. "He better pray that Jounin Bitch finishes him off before we get to him."

Kakashi sighed, his eye crinkling in amusement. "Ah, young love. So complicated."

Naruko spun around, her glare sharp enough to cut. "You're NOT helping, Sensei!" Kakashi flinched as he waved his hands to calm Naruko down, while in his mind her image was overlapped by a red haired women.

The remaining teams collectively decided to ignore the chaos and filed into the restaurant, leaving Team 7 in the street. As Kakashi trailed behind, he muttered to himself, "This will make a great scene for Jiraiya-sama's next book."

Meanwhile, Yuto's and Yugito's voice echoed faintly in the distance.

"IT WAS AN ACCIDENT!"

"I DON'T CARE!JUST LET ME BEAT YOU UP!"

While Yuto was being chased through the snowy streets, Yugito trailing behind him, the scene shifted to a shadowed alleyway. The crisp wind of the Land of Iron whistled through the narrow space, carrying with it an eerie stillness.

A lone figure, clad in a dark cloak and wearing an intricate mask, emerged from the shadows. The masked ninja paused at the alley's center, their eyes scanning the surroundings cautiously.

The faint slither of something serpentine broke the silence as the shadow of a huge snake was seen. The figure stiffened momentarily before relaxing as a tall, pale man emerged from the shadows. His golden eyes gleamed with malice, and his serpent-like tongue flicked out briefly, tasting the air.

"Oho, Kabuto," Orochimaru's voice drawled, smooth and filled with a chilling amusement. "You're always so punctual. Have you brought me something… interesting?"

The masked ninja inclined his head slightly before raising a hand to remove the mask, revealing the face of Kabuto Yakushi. He adjusted his glasses, the faint glint of the lenses catching the dim light of the alleyway.

"I believe you'll find this quite intriguing, Orochimaru-sama," Kabuto said as he reached into his pouch, retrieving a scrool with the Kanji for DNA on it. "I've managed to acquire DNA samples that you'll surely find valuable—enough to turn the tide against the Third Hokage and the other Kages."

Orochimaru's lips curled into a sinister smile, his golden eyes narrowing with delight. "Oh? And whose DNA have you collected to be this bold to claim that it could turn the tide of the battle."

Kabuto's smirk mirrored his master's, his voice dropping slightly as he said something that couldn't be heard by anyone except Orochimaru due to the heavy winds and snowfall.

Orochimaru's eyes widened slightly, his excitement barely concealed. His chuckle echoed through the alley, low and menacing, as his tongue flicked out once again.

"Excellent work, Kabuto," he said, his voice filled with genuine approval. "With this, the death of Sarutobi-sensei is guaranteed."

Orochimaru hissed, his voice dripping with anticipation. "Proceed the preparations immediately. The Finals of Chunin Exams will provide the perfect stage for my revenge."

The two figures exchanged a brief look before disappearing into the shadows, their presence leaving the alleyway eerily still once more. The faint sound of distant laughter lingered in the air, sending an ominous chill through the empty streets.
