Frozen lies

On the snowy slopes of Everest, Dorothy and John followed the trail of destruction left by the force that had sent Belle flying. They soon arrived at a massive snowdrift that had covered Belle's entire body. John pulled out a device and used a wave to clear the snow, revealing Belle's unconscious form. They were relieved to see she was still alive.

Dorothy approached Belle, offering warmth with one of her glow balls and comfort. After a while, Belle began to stir, her eyes fluttering open. "Dorothy, what's going on?" she asked, confusion etched on her face.

As Belle sat up, she took in the worried expressions of Dorothy and John. "Where is everyone?" she asked, her voice laced with concern. "Mom, Dad, Sofia, Granddad... what happened?"

John and Dorothy exchanged a surprised glance. "Belle, don't you remember?" John asked, incredulous. "You're telling me you don't recall what happened last night?"

Belle's eyes widened in alarm. "Last night? I... I don't know what you're talking about."

Dorothy's expression turned determined. "We need to take her back to the scene. Maybe seeing it will help her remember."

John hesitated. "Are you sure that's a good idea? We've already been through so much..."

But Dorothy was resolute. "We have to try. If you're not coming, John, then stay here. We'll return once we've helped Belle remember."

John stood up, his eyes filled with determination. "My mom always believed in me, even when I didn't have any special powers or abilities. She never thought I was weak or incapable. And now, I want to do something to make her proud. I'll do this for her sake."

Meanwhile, in Washington DC, Dave was having a very difficult day. He was convinced that Derek and his friends were chasing him, and he couldn't shake off the feeling of fear and anxiety. He told Hina everything that had happened, and to his surprise, she believed him completely. She promised to stand by him and help him through this tough time, Hina was sure her dad wasn't coming this time to pick her up, so she would be by him.

As they walked out of their classroom, Dave and Hina were very cautious. They looked around, trying to see if anyone suspicious was following them. But they didn't notice anything out of the ordinary. They started walking home together, still a bit worried but feeling a bit better with each other's company.

But then, something unexpected happened. A car suddenly stopped in front of them, and Hina's dad got out. He told Hina to get in the car, and she looked at Dave with a worried expression. "I'm sorry, Dave," she said, as she got into the car. The vehicle sped off, leaving Dave alone and anxious.

Dave quickly changed his route, trying to lose any potential followers. He walked faster, looking around nervously, but he couldn't shake off the feeling that someone was watching him. And then, he noticed a person following him. He increased his pace, weaving through unknown alleys and side streets, but the pursuer kept pace with him.

Soon, the lone follower multiplied into three, and Dave's fear turned to terror. He ran as fast as he could, his heart pounding in his chest, but the pursuers kept closing in. He eventually reached a dead end, trapped with no escape.

The pursuers closed in, revealing themselves as Derek and his friends. They sneered at Dave, holding shock batons, and he knew he was in grave danger.

Dave pleaded, "What do you want from me? I have nothing, and I haven't done anything wrong. Please don't hurt me."

Derek sneered, "We just need money, and the Peacemakers will pay us well for delivering you to them. And I'll join them too. You Izigans don't belong in this world, boys get him!"

The boys surrounded Dave, zapping him with shock batons as he screamed in agony. Just then, a familiar voice shouted, "Get your hands off him!" Hina stood tall, taking a fighting stance. "Don't you dare touch him again if you want to leave here in one piece!"

Everyone turned to face her, and Derek's friends hesitated, backing off. Hina's confidence and determination were unmistakable.

Meanwhile, in the Mount Everest region, Belle asked, "Did I really do all this?" as they reached the site of the previous night's battle. She saw the massive frost spikes and formations, a testament to her incredible powers.

John nodded, "Yes, Belle, it was all you. You did this last night."

Belle marveled at the frost formations until she saw something that struck fear into her heart. Sir David's head lay cold on the ground, and she stumbled backward, falling to the ground, panting heavily. She couldn't believe her eyes until she saw her mother, Elena, lying dead on an ice hill, a long wound on her chest and stomach. Belle's memories began to flood back as she approached her mother's body. As she touched Elena's face, her mother's final moments flashed before her eyes.

"Find the vault," Elena said, her voice barely audible, as she took her last breath. Belle sat down, overwhelmed, as her memories of the previous night's events began to resurface. She was consumed by confusion and grief, tears streaming down her face.

"Who was he? Why did he do this? What was his motive?" Belle asked herself, struggling to accept the reality before her.

"Where's Sofia?" Belle asked, her voice shaking.

"That guy took her," Dorothy replied. "I tried to save her, but he was too fast. We lost her." Dorothy said.

"Sofia was the target all along," John said. "It explains why they were talking about her mostly. There's something special about her. Though she looks powerful than her age, her attack was powerful enough to cause that massive landslide over there."

"Then we have to go find her right now," Belle declared. "We're stronger than whatever that thing was. We're going to rescue Sofia. She's still alive, and I can sense the vibrations in the snow. I'll be able to find them; they can't have gone far."

With determination, the three of them set off to rescue Sofia.

Meanwhile, Cole, Kenneth, and Stella arrived at the scene sometime after they had left, shocked by what they saw. Cole managed to free them from the construct reality using a piece of Sir David's dimensional glass piece, which he had broken off before The-void could take it. They used the glass as a dimensional passageway, allowing them to enter the real world.

"This can't be," Stella said, staring at the dead bodies of Palmer, Elena, and Sir David. "My eyes must be deceiving me. This is unimaginable."

The three of them were in shock, their bodies trembling with unease as they struggled to comprehend the horror before them.
