The final stand

The thick, dark cloud that blocked the sun's rays from entering the city could be seen vividly from space. Everyone had their jaws drop as they witnessed the unexpected turn of events.

"We all know Tim is strange, but what the hell is this?" Terry exclaimed in shock.

"That's the Lava Skin Formation," Kate gasped. "It's the Lava Clan's forbidden technique. How did he learn it? Wow, it's amazing and also scary."

The whole sector unit stood on their feet, watching more closely as the screen displayed the form—

Strato sub station

"the Death Eclipse. is a technique he formed by himself," Eren continued. "Using both the Umbra Clan's Forbidden Technique and the Lava Clan's as well."

The technique was made for the high-cosmic form titans, with enormous cosmic energies because they could can nullify constructed reality. This merge in reality technique uses the creation of all things—the yang and yin. Due to the fact that the Umbra Clan has a split cosmo cell of the yang and yin, they are sharing the powers equally from both sides. The user is supposed to maintain that balance.

However, the Death Eclipse alters that balance. The Yang cosmo occupies ninety percent of the cosmo cell. For him to use the cosmo flame and bend the fabric of reality with ease, it comes at a cost. Using the Death Eclipse gives the user extreme power for only a specific period of time. During that time, the user's goal is to obtain the opponent's cosmo cell at all costs, to balance his yin and yang or irregularity.

Eren explained the stakes to the other captains. "Therefore, Tim must be willing to oppose and unchain his cosmo cell. If he fails to do so, he will die. But if he succeeds, the Void dies."

"It's ingenious," Henk uttered. The screen glitched as cosmic energy surged around the area. The entire city beneath the eclipse turned monochromatic—colors vanished, replaced by a shadowy effect of construct reality.

"Never imagined such power could come from one person," the void marveled. "This is quite impressive. Now show me what you've got."

The-Void declared!

Tim leaned his vision towards The-Void as he marched, closing in on the Void who stood still struggling with the black rod still in his shoulder. He pulled it off to join Tim in front of him. The atmosphere was intense, and the energy could be felt even further. Kenneth could barely stand it.

"This dense cosmic energy would probably kill a normal human if nearby," Kenneth learnt.

"Lava skin?, Tim is something else" Kenneth asked as he held Stella, who was still laying on the ground in pain due to the seal.

The-Void stood amazed at Tim's new appearance. He was looking more like the villain now. The dark metal skin and fire around him made him look more frightening.

---

The-Void looked up to the eclipse, noticing something strange.

"This eclipse, it seems to..."

The-Void whispered to himself, but was interrupted when a clear force of the unknown swept him from where he was, tearing through the ground. It was so sudden that the attack was almost invisible to him.

He knelt down with surprise while he held his neck. Like something had gripped him there... Tim had held him by the neck and threw him.

The-Void realized he couldn't move and noticed he was held by shadows that were in the form of humans; shadows used rocks to form a humanoid body and with a huge number, they burst from beneath the ground around him.

The-Void's anger erupted, unleashing a powerful gravitational force. Purple cosmic energy surged outward, obliterating the shadow rock armies in its path.

He stood, creating an intense gravitational storm. The ground lifted, and rocks hung suspended in the air. Suddenly, a white rod appeared before The-Void, momentarily stopping him.

Tim seized his chance. He dashed forward, grabbing the rod and using it to strike The-Void.

The blow sent The-Void flying several meters, but Tim wasn't finished. He grabbed The-Void's face and slammed him into the ground once more.

Tim concentrated, and the earth responded. A gigantic rocky hand formed, clutching The-Void tightly. Nearby, a huge building transformed into an enormous humanoid structure. With its own rocky hand, it punched, The-Void, which was held with another rocky hand beneath the enormous rocky monster.

The air was dusty due to the effect; the air cleared out, and The-Void was nowhere to be seen.

Tim sharpened his alertness and senses, ready for any surprise attack.

"This eclipse... it's depleting and suppressing my cosmic energy, so that's the special effect of this construct reality. I haven't been able to detect the flaw of the construct reality, and he seemed to have merged alternate reality with the original reality. Wait, what's this?" The-Void shouted, having realized that he was held down by rocks as he hid behind a building to regain strength.

He was dragged into the ground and in it was total darkness, an empty void of darkness.

He floated as well while he descended into the unknown. He felt something holding him firmly, which didn't enable him to move. He could barely use his cosmic energy, as the more he uses it, the more the construct reality absorbs it.

The-Void heightened his senses while he watched, seeing nothing but darkness. Suddenly, The-Void caught someone's hand, which almost reached for his chest. The darkness cleared out, and Tim was seen visibly on the destroyed street. Tim suddenly left The-Void's presence, still surprised at his strength despite his efforts.

"I don't know how much time I have left, my powers still at peak, but I have to obtain his cosmo cell soon enough," Tim stated.

"You will have entertained me here. Nice to meet someone as strong as a titan, probably the high ranks," The-Void said, smiling. "Come on, lad, tell me your name," The-Void ordered.

"My name is of no use to you, asking for any information from me is just useless. It's no use since you are about to die here and now," Tim stated.

"Someone is hoping for something," Tim said, smiling, as he moved quickly toward The-Void with a destructive force, moving his fist for a punch.

Both Tim and The-Void exchanged punches as reality cracks were seen around them each time they met. "This is insane. What enormous power," Tim said.

"This is where we win, come to think of it how was Cole able to communicate with me through my mind? That kid is unpredictable, he actually saved Tim. So what's going to be the final outcome?" Kenneth said to himself.

The-Void was almost out of cosmic energy, which had been suppressed by the construct reality. Tim used every chance he had, forcing his way with his attacks. The-Void managed to block them with his barrier, but Tim appeared close to him, giving him an uppercut punch, sending him up through a tall building till he reached the top. Tim got there in time to meet him but he discovered he was already running out of time. His cosmic energy began to flicker as the white flames went off and on. He walked towards The-Void, who sat leaning on a wall exhausted and drained out of energy.

Fatigue is a common thing among humans. I see they have their limits. Such as this man I never knew all along the flaw of this construct reality was you. You tried to reach my chest earlier,I see now," The-Void mentioned with a cunning smite.

People in Galaxia could barely see the event as the screen was glitching due to the massive cosmic energy.

"Nine hundred and eighty meganuwits but it's dropping all the way down, it seems the fight is gradually coming to an end." Kate mentioned

"Tim may have done it," Terry whispered.

"Captains, deploy now," Lord Orion ordered. Each of the captains entered a drop ship, which left the station with dashing speed.

Meanwhile, on Earth, Tim was already close to The-Void. His metal skin was already wearing off and melting all the way down.

With his last bit of strength, Tim rushed towards the Void. He pushed his right hand into the Void's chest. The Void held Tim's hand, but Tim kept pushing.

"It's over," Tim said. "You won't cause any more trouble. You're strong, but you're not going anywhere now."

Tim's hand moved slowly, almost reaching the Void's power center. The Void kept holding his hand.

"This is your special move," the Void said. "I just needed a new body, and I finally found one strong enough. I can see you're near the end."

The Void pulled Tim's hand away from its chest.

The darkness started to fade. Space captains were entering Earth's air, still high up but getting close to the city. The Void was usinh a body of a man in his late fifties the void's skin was cracked and his clothes were torn. It was too late for Tim - his cosmic energy was fading fast. The Void removed Tim's hand and grabbed his neck as they both knelt down.

Kenneth saw this and tried to move, but found he had no cosmic energy left either.

"No, Tim!" Kenneth yelled as he fell.

Just as the Void was about to take over Tim's body, he saw a bright red light far ahead. It gave him a strange, uncomfortable feeling deep inside.

"What is this feeling?" the Void wondered. "I don't understand that red light. What was that earlier? Nothing stops me now, these unpredictable izigans!" the Void said loudly.

Soon, a purple and black substance began oozing out of his eyes, nose, and mouth.

A large amount of the purple and black substance flowed into Tim's body. This caused strong cosmic energy to spread around the area. Even the captains, who were almost at the surface, could feel it.

"Oh no, what's going on down there?" Henk asked.

"Be quick, land drop now, something is happening to Tim!" Oliver shouted.

Soon, the eight captains dropped from their ships directly above The Void and Tim.

When they got close, the massive and dense cosmic energy grabbed each of the captains and flung them all in different directions, instantly sending them far away from the area.

Soon, all of the purple and black mass left the void's body and went into Tim's body. Now Tim's body was the new vessel.

"Just as expected. This body didn't disappoint," The Void said.

A green flash appeared from somewhere at the speed of light. Oliver suddenly appeared in front of the Void, ready to attack. But an invisible force stopped him, leaving him hanging in the air.

The Void stretched out his hand, creating a long black rod. He watched Oliver struggle against the invisible force.

"So this is how he makes those annoying rods of his. Quite impressive," The Void said while slamming the void at Oliver sending him miles away.

This time, all the black metal that covered Tim's skin fell off. Now his bare chest and suit trousers were visible.

Soon the Void created a portal behind him and vanished, leaving everyone at the scene in disbelief.

"Did we just lose? Yes, we lost. What now, Cole? What's next?" Kenneth said to himself.
