To hit a person's bottom line, without hitting their face; to scold without exposing their faults.

Stone Jingxia endured the insult and retorted, "You hag, flesh-eater, destined to be an old nun for life, unwanted by anyone."

Then, she turned to me and said, "Guangting, don't worry about me, they're just trying to use you, don't fall for it."

With a sinister tone, Bai Ruoxue said, "You have three seconds to decide, otherwise, I'll shoot her first. One, two..."

"Don't shoot, I agree."

"Smart choice."

I untied Stone Jingxia, and she asked me, "What really happened that night? Why were you so anxious just now?"

"Huh? Nothing, really."

Stone Jingxia persisted, "Then why were you so flustered? She seemed nervous too. Come on, tell me, did something happen between you two?"

I briefly explained in a hushed voice, and Stone Jingxia exclaimed, then looked at me with concern.

"You didn't really do anything?"

"I swear on my conscience."

"Alright, I believe you."

After settling down, we gathered to discuss our strategy. Besides the bronze vessel, Sun Tiedan knew nothing else and could only serve as a guide. Considering the current situation, we only knew that there might be a treasure trove in Yanmen Mountain, but the specific location was unclear, so I decided to start "mountain running."

Mountain running, in essence, is traversing the mountains, searching for dragon veins based on Feng Shui principles and burial book theories, and then using dowsing to find the burial site.

A type of Feng Shui looks at the stars, another type looks at water mouths, and the third type involves traversing the mountains.

I'm sure many Feng Shui enthusiasts have heard this saying, but according to the records in "The Mystery of Ten Thousand Tombs" and my grandfather's annotations, this saying is somewhat biased. Especially in Yin House Feng Shui, one must "run the mountains," otherwise, it's impossible to locate the tomb.

A quiet night passed.

The next morning, the voices of Nida Pao and Sun Tiedan sounded outside the tent. I peeked out and saw the two of them standing in a row, pulling out the "Italian cannon."

"Why do you call him 'Iron Egg'? That name is epic."

"I'm Sun Tiedan. My parents hoped I'd be as resolute and patriotic as my grandfather. As for you, Nida Pao, truly repulsive. I'm better than you."

"Bullshit. I'm Zheng Dongxu. The rising sun in the morning, infinite hope. Damn it, who came up with that nickname."

They adjusted their trousers and continued.

After a simple breakfast, leaving two people to guard the camp, we took food, water, and some necessary supplies, and the six of us set off on our mountain run.

Last time, Stone Jingxia was terrified at Qikou Casket Storage, so this time, she brought a Chinese-style kitchen knife from the camp.

"Too light, not as good as mine." Waving the kitchen knife a few times, Stone Jingxia remarked.

I knew she was referring to the Wangmazi kitchen knife at home, with its wide iron-blue back and extremely sharp blade.

Bai Ruoxue snorted, "Country bumpkin, knows nothing."

This was my first time putting theory into practice, and I was somewhat nervous.

Sun Tiedan said that in the 60s and 70s, after aerial seeding, the current phenomenon of more pines on the shady side of the mountain and more locust trees on the sunny side was formed. According to Feng Shui theory, we decided to head towards the sun.

Nida Pao carried food and water.

Tools like Luoyang shovel, whirlwind shovel, and diamond pick were bundled together. Liu Yuanbao carried them on a shoulder pole.

There were no explosives experts in the Bai Gang, they had always used the most traditional methods. This time, Liu Yuanbao played the role of a soil worker.

Sun Tiedan and I carried machetes, clearing the way ahead.

Suddenly, a hissing sound came, and as I glanced aside, I couldn't help but gasp in cold air.

"Be careful, Xiaojing, there's a snake!"

On a tree, a snake as thick as an arm coiled around the trunk, hissing, originally basking in the sun. Startled, it lifted half its body and suddenly launched an attack towards Stone Jingxia.

It was a close call!

Just two or three centimeters away, otherwise she might have been disfigured again, and my two hundred thousand would have been wasted, or worse, she might have lost her life.

Almost simultaneously, Stone Jingxia wielded her kitchen knife, slashing wildly. The snake was immediately severed into two sections, the rear half desperately climbing up the tree trunk, looking extremely eerie.

"Xiaojing, are you alright?"

She shook her head and said she was fine, but I noticed her hands were trembling.

Nida Pao chimed in, "Sister-in-law, you're fierce enough. If you don't pay your dues in the future, I'm afraid..."

I scolded, "Your mouth is as loose as an elastic band, too relaxed."

"In Yanmen Mountain, there are many fierce beasts, everyone be careful," Sun Tiedan reminded.

We were feeling our way across the river, moving slowly. We rested twice along the way and walked for about six hours before reaching the summit.

Looking around, the sky was deep blue, the mountain peaks light blue, and the mountains were dotted with greenery. Several eagles circled in the sky, it was breathtakingly beautiful.

Everyone was a bit tired, so we sat down to rest and replenish our energy with some food.

Nida Pao took off his backpack and sat down heavily, and the water bottle emitted a creaking sound under the strain.

Stone Jingxia joked, "Get up quickly, how can others drink like this?"

"What's the harm in sitting down? I'm not farting, and besides, the water is clean and won't be contaminated."

Bai Ruoxue picked up a pine cone, threw it at Nida Pao's head, and gestured for him to get up.

"You hag."

Nida Pao muttered, got up understandingly, threw a bottle of water to someone, and leaned against a tree to squat down.

Liu Yuanbao unscrewed the bottle cap, took a sip, moistened his throat, and cupped his hands as a makeshift megaphone, shouting towards the mountain stream.

It was the sound of a wolf, lifelike, echoing endlessly.

Sun Tiedan hurriedly said, "Don't shout randomly, or you'll attract the wolves."

A moment later, a voice responded to him.

Nida Pao quickly got up, his face full of shock as he looked into the misty distance.

"Oh no, we really did attract the wolves. Where are they?"

Liu Yuanbao pointed into the distance and said, "They should be over there, but I'm not too sure yet. Currently, I've only learned ventriloquism, so I can't accurately pinpoint their location."

With that, he gave me a resentful glance.

Yanmen Mountain is over a thousand meters above sea level, marking the boundary between the northern Shaanxi plateau and the Guanzhong plain, with continuous layers of mountains, historically a battleground for military strategists.

The peak we were currently on was the main peak of Yanmen Mountain.

Five hundred years ago, Qiao Yu, a man from Yueping in the Ming Dynasty, wrote a travelogue about Yanmen Mountain, describing it like this.

Looking around from the summit, Fanzhi and Wutai rise to the east, the mountains of Ningwu bow to the west, Zhengyang Shigu stands to the south, and Shuozhou Mayi is on the border to the north.

Now, experiencing it firsthand, one can truly feel the mood of the ancients at that time. It can be described in eight words: as if in a fairyland, feeling relaxed and happy.

Surrounded by mountains on all sides, the main peak stands tall and majestic, while the subsidiary peaks humble themselves in reception, naturally formed.

"This is an excellent Feng Shui treasure land," I couldn't help but exclaim.

At hearing this, Bai Ruoxue immediately got up, walked over, and asked, "Are you saying the treasure is here?"
