28 Take Her to My Room

"Emilia," the man resting with closed eyes suddenly spoke, causing a shiver to run down my spine, feeling caught like a thief in the act.

"I hope you remember what I said, instead of just staring blankly at me," Klaus opened his eyes. He glanced at me, slightly embarrassed, then shifted his gaze back out the window. "I want to remind you that if you want to survive in my pack, the only way is to obey my commands and not do anything extra. No matter what you see or hear in my memories, if you utter a word of it, you'll immediately become a corpse."

Sunlight poured through the window, casting a warm halo over Klaus's face. The faint specks of light danced on his eyelashes, and his dark golden eyes gleamed with a cold intensity. He resembled an ancient Greek statue.

"Yes, Master," I stammered in response.

I understood that the lofty Klaus was warning me.

I lowered my eyelids, making myself appear as a silent slave.

"We're here!" I heard the voice of Anthony.
