Chapter 26: Redemption

Nathaniel was restless, he couldn't find peace doing anything and watching him suffering this way burdened Cassandra's heart even to more extent. What was his fault? He did nothing but suffering like everything was his fault.

Cassandra entered his room and found him looking at the photo hanging on the wall where Alexandra, Nathaniel and Cassandra herself were present in picture together radiating the most happiest vibe. Her heart clenched seeing him this silent, he didn't eat anything since the day Alexandra was captivated in the dungeon.

How could he do that? She was his life, his life was in deep misery, how could he eat?

Everything was getting out of hand, but how beautiful their plan was. Until now, they had been able to embrace each other; their laughter and mischief radiated the happiest signature of the pack house. But now, everything was demolished. Their happiness, peace, sleep, and work were no longer going well.
