Rory
Three days had passed since we all returned home, and I've never been happier.
To say I had been happy to meet my kids again would be an understatement. I had actually guested until tears as I embraced them fiercely because I feared so much that I won't get to see them again. Right now, I was stroking Niko's head. He had fallen asleep across my legs and I wasn't ready to let him lay properly on the couch, because I still wanted to feel his weight against me. Jason was sitting across from me on the couch, and Anna was asleep in his arms. Kenny was sitting in the middle of the sitting room on the ground, and he had been reading something to the kids before they fell asleep. I had a feeling Anna didn't fall asleep because of the reading and more because she's tired from school.
