The Wedding

Rory

"Don't mess your tie up, baby." I scolded gently as I redid Niko's tie for the tenth time this morning. He frowned up at me.

"But it's so tight." He mumbled but I only huffed, because I knew it wasn't. He just hated how it felt, which I understood. But today is a big day and he has to look his best, especially since he's the ring bearer.

"Remember that everyone are gonna be looking at you, you'd definitely want to look good," I said while ruffling his hair but he batted my hands away and smothered his hair down before slowly grinning.

"You're right, dad." He admitted before bouncing on his feet.

"So after the wedding today, we'd all live happily ever after, right?" He asked and I chuckled softly and nodded in response while my heart clenched tightly. He grinned harder at me before I crouched before him.

"I'd like that very much." He announced and I leaned forward to kiss his head.
