Experiment 1 - Love and Science

---

The next day, Adam is walking to school, pondering about the breakfast quality. Suddenly, Ryan's car horn buzzes, and Adam gives way as Ryan passes by, muttering about Ryan's arrogance.

Silently, Rose speaks in Adam's ear, suggesting he leave the group. Adam is baffled, wondering if she is really talking to him.

Rose: "Then leave the group."

Adam (confused): "What? Did you hear my words?"

Rose: "What do you think?"

Adam: "Doesn't matter to you."

Rose: "Is that so!"

Adam: "We are getting late for class."

Rose: "I know when class starts, but do you know our timetable?"

Adam: "I downloaded the schedule yesterday."

Rose: "Did you find the timing of Sir Gabriel's work?"

Adam: "I was about to ask that."

Rose: "It will start from 6 pm and last until whenever you can after 9."

Adam: "I guess it will be fun."

Rose laughs at Adam's words.

They attend classes and meet up in the lab in the evening.

As Adam reaches, he finds Rose and Ryan talking.

Adam: "Hi, guys."

Rose quickly replies to Adam and resumes her conversation.

Adam tries to join the conversation, but Ryan yells at him to get out.

Ryan: "Get out, you can't get in here."

Adam to himself: "Oh my!"

Adam stands near the computer and starts checking it out. Shortly after, their teacher arrives.

Teacher: "So, everyone is here!"

Ryan: "Feels like it now!"

Teacher: "Sarcasm! Anyway, you are going to work on determining a meteorite's fundamental properties and how it can be added to the periodic table of elements."

Rose: "You mean we are going to discover a new element."

Teacher: "Kind of! If you can! You have access to all the techs present here, but you need to report every aspect of your experimentation every day!"

The teacher opens his briefcase with a scanner on the briefcase and places his finger on it. The briefcase opens, revealing the meteorite.

Rose: "Alright, sir."

Adam: "Alright, sir."

Teacher leaves for his cabin.

Ryan: "Come on! Let's start!"

Rose: "Alright! Ryan, first scan it and find its age!"

Ryan: "Alright, Rose!"

Adam: "What should I do?"

Ryan: "Clean the room with the broom! Hehehehhe."

Rose: "Ryan, don't be so sarcastic! Adam, you make the report!"

Adam: "Okay!"

Ryan and Rose use carbon dating to determine the age of the meteorite but find abnormal readings every time.

Rose: "What's happening?"

Ryan: "What is it?"

Rose: "Are you sure you adjusted that radiation scanner correctly?"

Ryan: "Rose! You know I never make mistakes in this kind of thing!"

Rose: "Oh man, what's happening!"

They keep working on it until 9 pm, but the readings keep fluctuating.

After one month of experimenting, there is still no progress.

After much effort, there was still no progress.

After a month, the teacher brings in a new boy to their team.

Teacher: "Students."

Rose and Adam: "Yes, sir."

Teacher: "I have decided that you would be assisted by a friend in this project. Since you have failed to gain any success in the last month, this is just a little help I would like to give you."

Ryan: "Sir, but we are already troubled having Adam here, and you are bringing in a new person."

Rose: "Ryan!"

Ryan: "What? I was telling the truth."

Teacher: "If you have problems working with this team, then you can leave. I will manage your father. Don't worry!"

Ryan: "Uhh," (turns around and starts looking at the papers.)

Teacher: "This new boy is Arrow Bolt. Hope you do good work together."

Bolt: "Hello, guys."

Adam: "Hello, Bolt."

Rose: "Hey!"

Bolt walks toward Ryan and watches the paper in Ryan's hand.

Bolt: "I don't think Ryan wrote this conclusion?"

Rose: "No, Adam is the theory maker of this project!"

Bolt: "It seems it will be fun here!"

Rose: "Bolt, let's get started."

They begin experimenting.

Will this new person help them?

Will they be able to complete the research in time?

How will this new boy help them?
