Esmond Pov:
After the long two hours of shopping, we finally met up with Cassandra, who was carrying some souvenirs. Though I don't know how we'll carry these to Ezhares, Gesine seems happy, so it was worth it.
Even from afar, I could see Cassandra's gloomy face. I wonder what's up.
"You've returned! I see you've used the donations well."
It's like he was intentionally making us spend it all.
"Gesine is happy with the shopping spree, so I'm pleased too, but... someone is not happy today."
I turned to Cassandra, who was purposely avoiding eye contact, trying to ignore me. She even turned her back.
"I see you've brought some carrots with you. We'll feed the horses. Come on, you two!"
Camael took Gesine and Keres to the stables. As he passed by Cassandra, he winked at her as if giving her some signal.
As they left, Cassandra approached me.
