Chapter 8: Don't fall into the trap

Ryan was a bit concerned about Elias.

Elias bets around 10000 dollars.

He knew Elias was not from a rich family.

He put a piece of steak into his mouth and asked.

It was rare to have such a special combination on a person.

Maybe he got something special.

"Which University you are going to, Ryan?" Jake asked after taking a sip of the wine.

"Luminary University. Near your studio."

"We can play music together, every day." Ryan said with a smile.

"Yo man, I can bring you around. There are many opportunities there." Jake said.

In previous life, Ryan went to the same University and started his music career there.

"Elias, how about you?" Jake asked.

"Arcanum University."

Arcanum University was one of the best universities in the world.

It was known for its magic academic research.

 A lot of the latest magic knowledge was found by the professor at Arcanum Magic University.

In a previous life, Elias spent four years of his university years at Arcanum Magic University.

It was great.

There were many pretty girls at the university.

University years were the best years for girls.

They were young, energetic, and liked to wear shorts.

"Arcanum Magic University? Just beside your Imperial Magic University."

Ryan turned to Ava and said.

Ava nodded her head.

Imperial Magic University was beside Arcanum Magic University.

As opposed to Arcanum Magic University, Imperial Magic University was famous for their practical magic. 

Some of the great warriors, healers, and circle mages graduated from Imperial Magic University.

At Lily's table.

Her male friends overheard what Ryan said because the tables were near to each other.

They were discussing with a low voice.

"Eh, you hear that? Elias spent 10000 dollars."

"He must be crazy."

"Maybe he was too sad because of the break up"

"Haha, maybe he wants to show Lily that he can earn big money."

Alex said

"Hahaha, 10000 dollars on the magic circle code. He is going to lose it all" 

Lily put down her glass and thought.

Why did he do that?

He is not from a rich family.

Does he want to prove to me that he is capable?

Or does he want to earn big money so that I regret it?

Does he still love me?

Lily blinked a few times.

Then, she lowered her eyelids.

She was confused by her own feelings.

Lily didn't know whether she liked Elias.

Then, he stood up and walked to the bar counter.

There was a waitress at the bar counter.

This was a hidden menu at Castle in the Sky. 

The Castle did provide free dessert for customers.

This was one of their free services.

Only those who were familiar with the Castle knew about this hidden menu.

As a regular customer in previous life, Elias knew about the hidden menu.

Elias took the Enchanted Cake from the waitress.

Then, he started to walk to his table.

On his way back to the table, Elias saw Lily walking towards him.

"Hmmmmm, what does she want?" Elias thought.

Lily's face was red.

Her steps were a bit unsteady, walking not very steadily.

Her gaze was unfocused as she looked at Elias.

Probably because of the alcohol.

"Elias, I.....I give you one more chance," Lily mumbled.

Then, she stumbled towards Elias.

Elias saw that.

He stepped back, then sidestepped.

The next moment, Lily lunged forward into empty space."

"Be careful with my dessert." Elias thought.

Then, Elias walked back to his table as if nothing had happened.

He didn't like her.

And he knew that nothing would change if they got back together.

Don't fall into the trap.

Many people think that the girl will change after the breakup.

But the fact is, they won't.

After some time, the girls will revert to the same behavior or worse.

Because they know that the boy won't leave.

Lily was looking at him from behind.
