As they spoke more and more about the future and so on, the man continued to tell Keitaro about what he knew, talking about how balance is achieved, how the best kind of peace is inner peace, how nature should be treated with the utmost respect, and so on.
Keitaro throughout it all paid an immense amount of attention to every word that escaped their lips.
Taking down the notes he would need and so on, he would be using some of that stuff to increase his jujutsu sorcerer and include some of them in his daily life if he could.
After a while of speaking, The shaman reached into a small pouch by his side before withdrawing a single, vibrant herb.
The man held the herb like it was the most precious thing in the entire universe.
"Here," The man said, his voice calm but with a hint of reverence.
"This herb is a gift of the earth itself—a rare blessing. It can bolster vitality and resilience. Use it wisely; it holds the energy of this land, and it will strengthen your spirit in times of need."
Keitaro wondered if he had plot armor, cause this little herb in the man had was exactly what he had needed to finish his recipe on how to improve his pill.
He needed something that had a lot of vitality for it, he was planning to use that in order to make a pill that strengthened whoever was taking it.
However so far, nothing he had gotten worked, even if this herb could only make 6 pills, it would be enough experience for him to try it with something else.
He might have been blessed with it,
Keitaro accepted it, he could practically feel the pulse of natural energy radiating from the herb, it almost felt like a heartbeat.
"Thank you, Spirit Weaver," He said thankfully, he gave the man a respectable bow, making sure to show as much respect as one could in a situation like this.
"You do not need to thank me Keitaro, this is Mother Nature's gift to you," The man said in a rather calm voice.
The shaman then told him to go, he nodded his head before walking away.
As Keitaro walked away, he realized he hadn't asked the man how he knew his name.
As he turned around toward where the man was just a few seconds earlier, there was nothing there, it seemed like the man had vanished in a poof of smoke.
Keitaro watched this scene and wondered if he was high, just for a moment, but the herbs in his hand told him that he wasn't high and he had indeed spoken to a shaman not just 30 seconds ago.
Deciding that the best course of action was just to walk home, Keitaro made his way back home with Akane sitting on his head.
The Kitsune looked quite content with herself, she was even snuggling herself closer to him, she liked feeling this close to her master.
She yawned a bit before making his head her little pillow, she closed her little eyes before falling asleep on top of his head.
He did not even bother getting her down, with his hand in his pocket he made his way toward the house, he had much better things to do now.
Without even using his hand, he teleported the herb to one of his seals before sealing the herb inside.
He would use them later, as of now he had bigger fish to fry.
Time skip.
He opened the door to his house, he surprisingly did not hear any noise...Shoko was still sleeping inside her room.
Keitaro carefully made his way inside the house, making sure to lock the door behind him.
It was 1 pm and Shoko was still sleeping, yeah that seems about right.
Deciding to cook her some lunch.
Deciding to make his girlfriend something good, he remembered the dish they were served at the hotel they stayed at a few days ago.
Shoko had loved it, even ordered seconds...and thirds...and fourth....anyway, enough about her hunger time for him to make it for her.
Using all the cooking material he had, he got to cooking, Akane sleeping on his head started to turn red, her white fur turning a fiery red color as what seemed to be orange eyeliner appeared above Keitaro's eyelid.
Well, it was time to cook....
Yes, he was going to use sage mode to cook.....get over it.
Time skip
After a few, he was done, he was currently just stirring a pot of hearty New Orleans-style gumbo, rich and aromatic.
The gumbo was packed with juicy shrimp, spicy sausage, and tender chunks of chicken, all simmered in a deep, reddish-brown roux-based broth full of Cajun flavors. He carefully seasons it with a blend of spices, adding green onions and fresh herbs as it cooks. The gumbo is served with a mound of fluffy white rice on the side, garnished with a sprinkle of green onions and parsley for a touch of color and freshness.
He did pretty well on his first try...plus the food was practically oozing with natural energy so not only was it tasty it was also the most nutritional meal someone could feed their body.
As he finished cooking, Shoko entered the room a bit tired.
She yawned a bit.
"Good morning," She said yawning a bit.
Keitaro gazed at the clock, it was about 2:45 in the afternoon...it was well past good morning time.
"Good afternoon, how was your sleep" he said calmly.
"I slept fine," She said stretching her body a bit, she was currently wearing an oversized shirt, but probably nothing underneath that shirt apart from probably her lingerie.
"I made you lunch, come on eat up," He said as he helped her get toward the kitchen where she sat, he then placed the plate of food infront of her.
Have you ever seen a vacuum cleaner at work....no, yeah this was what Keitaro witnessed after she had thanked him for the food.
She had just eaten, 180 grains of rice, alongside so many shrimps and so on....she did not seem to be stopping anytime soon.
Jeez, however, he felt somewhat content, she liked his cooking, and that felt nice, something about someone else enjoying what you made, was a nice feeling.
A/N...Which main character is more likable?
Akira
Keitaro
Aaron
Takeo
I am not putting Kenzo here, even if his story is my most popular story, I personally think his personality is a copy and paste of Gojo, apart from that it's kind of bland, if I do a rewrite I will probably fix that.
For Akira and Keitaro, it is quite easy to figure out their quirk after like a chapter or 2, Aaron, well for him, he is like Akira....but more unhinged, in the sense of, a situation where Akira would just some things, he would just say it or do it, for Christ sake, he talks about blowing a girl back out....infront of her dad.
He used a Taser to restart his heart.....so yes unhinged, his fighting style is similar to what Gojo was doing when he was high off the sauce, and he and Akira are the two Mc I have fun writing about and since Akira's story is basically a success, I now that I can leave my own writing and not use ai to write his story.
