Time skip.
Keitaro could be seen boarding the plane. If he remembers correctly, this plan will drop them off in England, and from England, they will take another plane to Japan.
He got to his seat, made way for Shoko, and then sat down. As the plane took off, the hum of the engines mixed with the quiet ambiance in the cabin created some for a lullaby that seemed to pull Shoko gently into sleep.
Her head now resting comfortably on his shoulder, her face was relaxed and her lips parted in a soft breath, for all intent and purposes, she was relaxed as one can be.
Keitaro couldn't help himself, he just had a soft smile on his lips upon seeing this peaceful sight, he felt a warm feeling as she leaned into him.
He gazed down at the Atlantic ocean beneath them and took a deep breath.
To think, he would unlock Wind, he thought he would have to contact a Wind spirit or something, to think all it took was just going to such a place....
A place filled with natural energy and a pretty windy place...yeah that check out.
Akane now had a red tail and a green one, though she seemed to be mixing the design between them, she was now adorned with red and green designs all over her pristine white fur.
So Keitaro now had to learn how to use his wind ability....he probably would mainly use it to boost his speed to even faster levels, there was no harm done in doing that.
Being faster never hurt anyone, it wasn't like the person behind him in terms of speed would catch up to him anytime soon.
Keitaro's current speed, without teleportation, was around 2x the time Satoru, so he was twice as fast, with teleportation that increased to around 8 to 10 times.
There was no actual way to fully quantify how much faster he was, as teleportation was instant, no travel time needed, so he could say he was infinitely faster than him.
The 8 to 10-time math he said was saying how fast he was to Gojo in a fight, where he would mostly be teleporting short distances.
If he remembers correctly, he did promise Edgar he would visit him from time to time, he does wonder how the young man was doing.
Deciding to do some light research while on the flight, it never hurt anyone, opening up his laptop.
He was studying Somali, alongside Amharic...He was planning to visit the Horn of Africa. You may be asking why and his answer was simple.
The Horn of Africa is believed to be the birthplace of humanity. The region's unique geography, with the Red Sea and Gulf of Aden providing a narrow waterway, allowed early humans to migrate out of Africa around 50,000-70,000 years ago.
Tldr, basically where humans were believed to first be....and the reason he chose to learn those new languages was because the country in that area did not speak English nor Japanese...figure, a country in Africa not knowing Japanese, who could have ever thought.
Instead of hiring a translate which he could do, he much rather learn the language himself, he would still get a guide, but it felt like it would be better if he understood the language.
He was about at the intermediate level for both languages...the shit you can do with rct and curse energy to the brain surely does help.
He practically had a photographic memory and thus by the beginning of the year 2014, he should have mastered all those languages.
He might need to pick up French, Spanish, and some Latin.....maybe some Greek...
Pov change.
A little boy could be seen playing outside a mention...well if you call destroying a boulder with some sort of futuristic glove playing then yes, this child was playing.
"No...It's not good enough" The boy mutters to himself, the boy calms himself down before creating what seems to be a circle around his feet.
The circle expanded using the boy as the center.
"Simple domain" The boy mutters to himself.
This was the technique he had seen his teacher use against that curse about a year ago.
He had been trying to master it but so far the domain would shatter after being used for more than 30 seconds.
Ordering a nearby servant to turn on the machine, the boy got into a fighting stance.
Closing his eyes a bit.
As the machines were turned on, about 40 tennis balls were launched at the boy.
The balls got closer....and closer...until they eventually reached the outer shell of the domain.
The boy's eyes shot open...he could see them, he could feel them.
As the ball entered the range of his simple domain, what seemed to be a liquid metal appeared around his hand, quickly he shaped the liquid metal into a gauntlet.
As the ball was about to hit him, he used the gauntlet ability.
Construction...the ability to practically create anything, curse weapon, regular every object, solar panel.....The ability that was imbued into those gauntlets was simple.
All of the boy stats have been...doubled....
Now moving with about 2x twice his normal attributes, the boy was able to block each and every single one of those tennis balls.
As soon as he was done....the gauntlet vanished from his hand....well to be fair the weapons were only temporary.
Under normal conditions, the gauntlet would have boosted his stats by 1.25X time...or like 125%. However due to a binding vow.....Where he kind of made it so that the weapon was temporary, he only had it for around 30 seconds give or take, he was able to buff his stats.
Pretty fair trade-off considering he could always make another gauntlet and do the whole cycle again, at this rate it feels like binding vows were made to be abused.
..
..
..
The boy felt a surge of curse energy....a surge of familiar curse energy.
His eyes shot open with excitement, however, he managed to calm himself down, passing his hand through his hair, making sure that he did not look messy.
Using some cloth that he had nearby, he decided to use it to make a white suit.
With some liquid metal, he made sure to add a touch of jewelry here and there.
Coming from the Horizon, Keitaro could be seen, accompanied him was someone Edgar was unfamiliar with.
The boy tried to keep his manners and even politely bowed to him when Keitaro got close.
"Edgar seems like you made some progress," Keitaro said calmly, at a glance, he could tell all the stuff the boy had created....alongside the fact the boy's curse energy reserves were running on hopes and dreams.
"Good to see you Sensei!" The boy said in a cheerful voice.
"Good seeing you too Edgar," Keitaro said calmly.
Edgar then looked at the girl next to his sensei.
"Sensei...if I may ask?... Who is She?"
"Oh..this is Shoko, My girlfriend," Keitaro said with a smile.
"Nice to meet you," Shoko said politely.
The boy seems to have gained some newfound respect for Shoko, if she were able to captivate her sensei heart then she must be an extraordinary woman.
"Nice to meet you too," The boy said happily.
"Edgar...The food is ready" A gentle voice could be heard saying.
Turning his head to face the direction of the house he saw it.
Eleanor was standing there, her hair looking just a bit shorter than usual, she was not wearing her usual attire, she seemed to just have a white robe, with a black robe underneath....sensing the natural energy from it, he could tell that stuff was expensive.
TLdr, probably something around 40k for just her dress.
Without the Jewelry.
"Hello Eleanor," Keitaro said softly, greeting the woman politely.
She seemed quite glad of his visit, then her eyes turned cold....colder than they were usually.
"Who is this lovely lady by your side" The woman said softly.
"Oh this is Shoko, my girlfriend"
"Nice to meet you, Miss Worthington, I am Shoko Ieri, Keitaro's girlfriend," Shoko said with a smile on her face.
Was it just him....or did the room get colder?
Also, why did Shoko have to reiterate that she was his girlfriend, he had said that.
For some odd reason he felt like sparks of lightning were happening nearby, like a battle brewing, he on the other hand had no real clue why.
He came to visit Edgar and to keep his end of the deal and deliver the goods, and since Shoko was with him, he decided to let her tag along.
Why did he feel like it was a bad idea now?
