Special Chapter XV - Fear (part 2)

Everyone who recognized the head became angry.

"You guys are the knights from Mazino, right? And the other… group, must have been the rebellion. Am I wrong?"

Prym asked the question, but not a single person was able to answer. No, more like nobody wants to answer.

Everyone turned their gaze from the chopped head to one person, the captain. The captain can barely breathe properly. The heavy pressure that kept everyone down is no longer bothering him. In fact, he is no longer bothered by whatever mess that they are currently dealing with.

All he knows... is that these people are his enemies.

The enemy they've been facing since day one of their arrival at Veldonia.

The Rank 1 ranker, Prym, and the Trio of Destruction.

The captain, still unable to move his eyes away from the head, finally lost his sanity. And slowly, the effect is taking place.

His body began to glow, as negative energy started to cover his entire body.

"Hoo? What's this?"

Prym became intrigued by the captain. The captain turned his glare back to the three at the top of the pile of rocks, and all in his eyes were hatred and bloodlust.

Seeing this golden opportunity, a hand appeared in front of Prym.

"Let me take this chance, Prym."

Elbrado said to Prym, and Prym chuckled.

"Suit yourself."

A grin formed on the bald guy's expression, and he looked quite satisfied. With a single powerful leap, he was able to reach twenty meters in the air, and he landed perfectly right in front of the captain.

The captain was caught off guard when Elbrado suddenly landed in front of him. By the time he opened his eyes, standing right in front of him was a two meters wall of meat, filled with muscle and power.

The two muscle heads stared at each other sharply. One glared with raging eyes, the other with greed.

"Ohoho! Looks like El has a new friend!"

The female walked down from the piles and watched from the bottom of the mountain of rocks. She wanted to have a closer look at the scene, but Prym knows that it is still dangerous.

"Careful, Merida. There might be more around."

"Yes, yes..."

Merida wasn't really listening to Prym. She really thinks that no one in this place can beat the three of them, not even the legendary undead conjurer. She thinks that Prym is overreacting, and that she should just enjoy the show.

The bald guy, Elbrado, stared down at the captain with a very demeaning look. The height difference between the two is quite large, despite the fact that the captain is already the tallest person in the group.

Seeing the angry look from the captain, Elbrado chuckled.

"What the hell…? This guy is nothing."

"What did you say?"

The captain became quite pissed off when Elbrado laughed at him, thinking that his opponent was laughing at him. Gajah can only watch in fear, hoping that the captain wouldn't do anything stupid.

"Tell you what."

Elbrado took a few steps back. He braces his chest and opens his arms, challenging the captain.

"I'll take a hit from you, and then you'll take a hit from me. Whoever falls down first, loses. Sounds fair?"

Prym chuckled at Elbrado's challenge, thinking how stupid this sounds. It's very obvious to him who will win, and yet Elbrado still asked for this.

The captain didn't bother thinking about it. He formed a slight grin, and while still looking quite angry, he answered without hesitation.

"Deal."

The captain knows that this guy is too strong for him. He knows, despite how angry he is, he wouldn't be able to beat this guy up.

But even when he is drowned in rage, the captain is still capable of proper thought.

He… needs to buy time.

Plus, this might be a good chance for him to punch something. After all, he learned how to use that destructive punch from before, he can use it to punch Elbrado.

Elbrado lifted both of his hands, taunting the captain.

"Come on!"

Looks like it's time.

The captain lowered his body as he slowly formed the same stance from before. He moved his left leg back, and slowly pushed his right hand backwards to charge up.

He focused all of his hatred and strength, poured them all over his body, and finally focused his entire magic energy into both his hand and his foot. His eyes are widely opened, glaring at the powerful opponent with bloodlust.

It didn't take long before his body glowed red, but the center of the glow was mostly at his hand and foot.

In his thoughts, the captain thought about where to hit.

'The chest... I'll finish it in one hit!!'

The captain finished his charging up.

Gajah can only close his eyes, while everyone else is watching. Prym lets out a little amazed sound as he watches the captain gather even more energy into his right hand. Once he felt that it was enough, the captain sharpened his glare.

BARR!!!

The ground where the captain previously stood exploded, and the captain was nowhere to be found. Elbrado only blinked once, and the captain was already right in front of him.

Once he was close, the captain let go of his bursting power, and threw the punch into Elbrado's chest.

"Oh, shi-"

BLAAARRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!

The captain's punch was perfect. It hit dead centre on Elbrado's left chest, where his heart is at. The ground exploded as his fist landed on Elbrado's chest, throwing a powerful blast wave all over the place.

The group was quite affected by it. Everyone got thrown away by the powerful shockwave. The shockwave even reaches the mountain of rocks where Prym and Merida are at, but they don't look quite affected by it.

"Ho-Ho!"

Prym chuckled as he watched from afar. He was quite surprised at how amazing the captain is. Everyone else is also amazed by how powerful the captain suddenly becomes, despite the fact that they got thrown back by the shockwave. It was all because of Rize's teaching that the captain was able to use that technique.

The dust slowly cleared out. The wind coming from the hole in the ceiling was quite strong, and it pushed the dust away rather quickly. 

The captain was sighted, and he was gasping for air. That punch took a lot of his strength, and now he is simply weak. The captain opened his eyes again to see that the dust had been cleared. But as soon as he saw the result, he choked on his own saliva.

A few meters from his position is Elbrado. The punch merely pushed him about two meters away, and did no damage to him at all. Elbrado's chest was smoking from receiving the super punch, while Elbrado was controlling his breathing.

"Well damn... Hah... You did it at a good spot there, bud! I'm surprised you even aimed for my heart!!"

Hearing how Elbrado can still talk normally, the captain looked disappointed.

"Shit..."

Elbrado tried moving his body around, trying to remove the sting from his chest. Despite him being able to withstand that punch, it still doesn't remove the fact that the punch actually hurts. But after the numbness disappeared from his chest, he returned his grin back at the captain.

"I hope you are keeping your promise!"

"Tch!"

The captain could only do nothing and stood hopelessly. He was exhausted, so he couldn't do anything. He's also aware that his armour will not be able to hold off Elbrado's punch, and neither can his body. After all, this guy punched the ground to get here.

Punching the captain will simply be like punching a carton wall for Elbrado, but Elbrado doesn't care. He flexes his right hand, preparing it for a tasty punch. Once his hand was ready, he lowered his body and prepared for a punch like what the captain did.

"Try not to die! No one has ever really survived this, though!"

Elbrado said as he slowly pushed his right hand backwards. He activated all of his muscles, and even began moving around his magic energy inside his body. As soon as the pressure was emitted, everyone wore their horrified look.

Everyone in the cave can see that Elbrado is focusing his strength on his right hand, doing exactly what the captain was doing. But they also know that this level of strength is multiple times stronger than the captain.

If the captain gets punched from that, he will surely die.

"Woah… are you going to kill him?"

Merida said to Elbrado from the bottom of the mountain, but Elbrado ignored her. He is simply too focused on what is right in front of him, and he doesn't care about anything else.

The captain had made him stung a little bit, and he had to return the favor.

"Ready!? Here I go!!!"

Elbrado began letting go of the energy at his foot, and the ground where he previously stood exploded. He flew towards the captain at a really high speed, and his right hand was very ready to kill the captain with one punch.

The captain can only close his eyes, accepting the fate that he has received. Everyone else shouted his name, but the captain simply couldn't hear it.

Elbrado was about to throw the punch, but then a shadow appeared from far away. The shadow approached him at a really high speed, and he immediately looked confused.

"Huh?--"

BAAAAAKKKKKKKK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A metal boot landed on Elbrado's left cheek. That kick was so powerful, Elbrado's face lost its shape and even multiple teeth flew off. Elbrado was thrown backwards faster than he leaped to, and there was a single person standing in his trajectory.

"Elbra-!--"

BAAAAKKKKK!!!!!!!!!!

Merida couldn't finish her sentence as Elbrado's heavy and powerless body crashed into her at the speed of a bullet. Elbrado's weight was over a hundred kilograms, so it's as if getting hit by an anvil with the speed of a bullet.

Merida got smacked by Elbrado's muscular back, and the two continued flying towards the wall very far back. 

BAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The two crashed into the wall, creating a large enough blast that an entire side of the cave was covered in dust.

The shadow moved once again, and this time towards the center of the cave. Heavy pressure can be felt appearing in less than a second, followed by a powerful shockwave from the center.

BAAAARRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The shockwave was so powerful that everyone was thrown backwards from it. The pressure was so much more powerful than Elbrado's fist, which caused the shockwave to be even more powerful.

It was all sourced from a single enchanted fist, that was throwing a punch. Unfortunately, that same punch was blocked by an even more powerful strength.

"Tch!!!"

"Well, well, well… You came out of nowhere…"

Prym reacted immediately when the shadow came at him at high speed after kicking Elbrado and Merida across the room.

He was able to move quick enough and lifted both of his arms to defend from the sudden punch coming from the masked man, but even after blocking the punch, he can feel a strong pain coming from both of his arms.

That punch wasn't weak at all, and it was charged in such a short time.

Seeing that this has become very dangerous, Prym leaped away from the center and landed right next to the hole where Elbrado and Merida are. 

Prym stared towards the top of the mountain of rocks, and he looked very pissed and annoyed. 

He was on top of that mountain just a second ago, sitting down like a king... 

And now…

The one standing on top of the mountain of rocks is the masked man, staring down on him with her demeaning glowing red eyes.
