Chapter LXXXI - Misoh (part 1)

The first bell rang and woke everyone up.

But… not me.

It seems like I was so fed up from yesterday's mission, plus the hours of meeting from last night. As a result, I was asleep for another two hours after the first bell.

When I was asleep, Hod was actually calling through the crystal right after the first bell, asking if everyone wanted to buy some things. Since I didn't reply, they started to get worried.

BAM! BAM!

The sound of my door getting knocked quickly woke me up. When I saw the sunlight coming in from the window, I immediately panicked. I headed to the door and opened it, only to see Valey and Cony waiting outside.

"Oh dear, Sleepy Rize. That's new."

"Oh my god, you are cute when you just woke up."

The two commented when they saw me. I let out a pissed growl and quickly turned around and let them in. They let themselves in while I prepared for a bath.

"Hod and Barett are waiting in the lobby. We are going to get some stuff to buy."

"… I see."

Still feeling sleepy, I replied half heartedly. At least Valey thought it was funny, so it's okay.

I feel annoyed being laughed at… but at the same time, I felt comfortable. At least they aren't shouting words at me, like knights or something.

I began bathing afterwards, while Cony and Valey waited in my room. After a quick bath, I came out with my body completely refreshed. The two noticed my body smell, and they wonder what kind of extras I use for my bath, like soaps and such. 

Those things are rather trivial, so I only answered what I can (I actually made my own shampoo, but I don't want them to find out).

After changing into my adventurers clothes, we went downstairs to meet up with Hod and Barett before hitting the streets.

First, we went to the adventurers shop, where we bought a ton of weaponry. I bought a second sword because my first sword is looking quite trashy. Then I also grabbed a bunch of throwing knives and a few magic energy drinks.

I know I said I won't be using those again, but since this is a Yellow ranked dungeon with some White ranked monsters inside, it might actually be essential to have it.

Afterwards, we went to the convenience store to buy some snacks and food for the base. We met Fran and her team while buying stuff, so we spoke a little bit. They are also buying stuff like us, and it's quite funny how we have the exact same plans for this morning.

Then we went our separate ways, where they will go to the adventurers shop and we will go to the market.

"What are you planning to buy on the market, Hod?"

Cony asked Hod who seemed to be full on money now that he was lent a bunch by the Office. As the leader, Hod was tasked to get some stuff for the adventurers when we set up base at the spot. So, we went to the market to buy those kinds of stuff.

He actually had listed what items were necessary for buying. He bought stuff like tents, quickly set up tables, paper scrolls, and other stuff essential for setting up a temporary base.

Valey suggested that he should get some food for the others, but he said the Office will cover that part.

And after buying a lot of things, we split those items into our space rings because giving all of them to Hod will simply make him have difficulties. Afterwards, we all went back home to prepare.

The second bell came not long after, and every adventurer who was called last night went to the Office.

The Office is officially closed for today, because of the sudden emergency. All the other adventurers can only have fun at the arena without doing any missions.

The adventurers that were called went to the Office and grouped up. In the Office, six teams were called and waited on the diner that was cleared out of the tables and chairs. The team leaders; Fran, Hod, Marksus, Jrake, Cane, and Emlar are re-briefing at the master's room with Valon, Klane, and Keila. 

Armir is also there with them. He never left the masters side. Last night, he stayed in the Office's dorm room since he had no other place to stay.

In the office, The master read the plan from the beginning and asked if everything was ready. Hod nodded, and the master finally ready to begin the mission.

"Alright. Let's begin."
