The adventurers are regrouping in front of the entrance.
Just like how it was discussed, there will be three groups being split among the adventurers for this raid.
Group one, led by Fran. This group includes Fran's team and Cane's team.
Group two, led by Hod. This group includes our team and Marksus' team.
The two groups have the same goal, which is to clear a path on the dungeon and search for the dungeon boss room. After finding the room, the group leader will call the other group and conquer the dungeon boss together.
Group three, led by Jrake. This group includes Jrake's group and Emlar's group.
The goal of this group is to guard the entrance so that no monsters will run out, and to be a backup in case an emergency happens. Their members were mostly hunters and speedrunners, so they were prepared as a quick save action team.
Valon will stay at the base and oversee this whole raid from the outside. He is also connected to the communication crystal that was connecting only the group leaders.
He will be the one to decide whether or not the group will fall back. Because if anything goes wrong to the adventurers inside the dungeon, it will be the master's responsibility.
Hod stood tall in front of the adventurers. Barett and Jrake, the two earth magicians, lifted a giant boulder in front of the entrance for Hod to stand. Now that he is standing in front of them, he looks so much like a war general.
"I will go through the plan one more time before we enter."
He said loudly as his gaze studied the adventurers. Everyone stopped what they were doing and turned to Hod who is facing them.
"Group one and two will go in and look for the dungeon's boss, as well as clearing the dungeon of all the monsters. Group three will stay behind as backup and to guard the monsters from leaving the dungeon. Group one will be the one to enter first.
Once either group one or two found the dungeon boss's location, they will send a pressure force powerful enough for the others to locate them using our magic senses. But if you can't do that, then you can always tell the others the way using the communication crystal.
Once both groups present, we will go in and conquer the boss together. Was that much clear?"
Everyone nodded. They all have been briefed so many times about the mission by their team leaders, so they already know about the plan.
Hod then stepped down from the boulder, and the boulder immediately crashed to the ground.
"All ready, master."
Hod said to Valon in the middle tent, and the master nodded as he spoke the command.
"Begin."
Hod went outside the tent into his position. He nodded at Fran from a distance. Once receiving the confirmation, Fran took a step forward and turned around.
"Group one! Follow me."
Fran shouted before she turned around to enter the dungeon. The group then followed her into the dark and dangerous dungeon.
It didn't take long for them to enter the dungeon, and once they are already inside, the people outside can already hear metal clashing along with the screams from the Misoh.
Hod chuckled slightly, laughing at how quickly the fight had started for them.
The third group led by Jrake, had already set up some towers right outside of the entrance. The towers were meant for the archers to shoot arrows to the Misoh that will be escaping the dungeon.
Around a minute after Fran's team entered, Hod stepped forward.
"Group one! Let's begin."
Hod turned around and entered the dungeon's entrance. Our team followed him and moved on the front, while Marksus and his buddies somehow kept their distance from us.
They will definitely do something. I must keep that in mind.
I moved up my pace and walked next to Hod.
"When they start to change their behaviour, we will take Marksus down. Their team can't do anything without him.
Remember. Don't act first."
Hod said to me while whispering. I nodded at him and moved back to blend in with the others.
Ten minutes after entering the dungeon, no monsters were sighted. Instead, we finally came across a three way junction. Two entrances, the left and the right. Hod went ahead and checked out which director Fran took. At the left entrance, he found a writing on the wall saying 'Hod is smelly'.
BRAK!
That writing is now dust. Hod waves his hand from punching the wall and then turns to the others.
"Let's go this way."
Oh… that must have hurt…
He picked the other path that Fran didn't take and we all followed him. Three minutes after taking that turn, we finally found some monsters.
It's… not just Misoh.
The second monster we found in the dungeon is a red colored dog, with flames coming out from its tail. The spines of the dog had sharp shiny spikes coming out from the skin, and the eyes were burning red. The fangs are pointing out like a saber-toothed tiger, and the fur is all red with black marks, completely standing up as they growl at us.
I know exactly what they are, and I know that this mission will be much more difficult than I thought.
"Hell hounds!"
Hod shouted as the first wave of hell hounds attacked.
Hell hounds are incredibly fast. Their teeth are as sharp as razors, and their saliva can burn your skin. Not to mention they had the ability to use tail slash, which creates a fire slash that flew towards their target, similar to a wind blade.
In the book of monsters, hell hounds were considered a Yellow ranked, but that is only their weakest type. They are very annoying to fight, and they were only sighted at a really high ranking dungeon.
To fight them alongside the Misoh… this will be very difficult.
Multiple flame slashes came flying at Hod, and he immediately created an ice wall.
SRING!!!
The ice wall blocked the flame slashes, but it melted almost immediately. A few hell hounds are starting to get closer, and Valey released her lightning arrow.
BLARR!!
The arrow killed one of the hounds, while the lightning blast stunned the others. Cony and I moved forward and sliced the hell hounds in half.
Marksus's team also marched forward. The Misoh couldn't stay put seeing their pets get killed like that.
The stabby-stabby guy went ahead and stabbed his dagger on a Misoh's forehead with high speed. When that Misoh fell to the ground, an axe flew on top of his head and landed on another Misoh's forehead.
The last two Misoh were sniped from the distance by the two archers, and Marksus didn't do a single thing.
Their combinations are balanced. Their ranks were only Green and Blue, and yet they were able to take down four Blue ranked Misoh very quickly.
