All of a sudden, the air stiffens.
The headmaster released an incredibly heavy pressure, and he faced them directly at me. Judging from the pressure, he must be at least a higher White ranked.
There's no way he is any lower.
My breathing started to trip at the beginning because I got quite startled, but I can still withstand it.
"Are you sure this pressure won't attract the attention of the other students?"
I said nonchalantly, even though my breath is tripping every now and then. The headmaster laughed hearing me say that, and answered.
"This room was made to withstand any level of heavy pressure. I designed it myself, you see?"
"Really? Then, can it withstand another heavy pressure?"
"Go ahead."
A wide grin formed on my face, and I released everything.
I released the full force of my pressure. I can hear the glass jars exploding from the heavy force in the air, coming from the two insanely heavy pressures fending off one another. The glass on the wardrobes also exploded, the decoration stones on the table as well as the water from the flower vase started to float.
Everything in the room turned into a wreck, and I know for a fact that this level of pressure isn't something that this room can handle. I can already sense the space around us distorted as energy leaking out.
"I see... I thought you were someone special since the master actually put in his heavy words on you... I never thought you are even better than what he explained."
"And? What exactly did he explain?"
"... That you are strong."
The pressures are starting to lift even the table in front of us. More and more cracks are starting to appear on the walls, as things became even rowdier in the room.
Seeing how this escalated, the headmaster decided to tone it down. Sensing that, I also followed.
The air became calm again. The pieces that were floating in the air thanks to our pressures suddenly fell down to the ground, either shattering or damaging the floor.
I looked around and saw the wreck of a room, and was quite sad that everything fell apart. This room was rather glamorous, and yet everything got destroyed now.
"So? What was that all about, Headmaster?"
"Just call me Veneo. Veneo Henderick."
First name… he recognizes me.
"Okay... What was that about, Veneo?"
"That was just me testing you. Judging from your pressure, you must be around... Ten thousand?"
"Ten thousand... What?"
"Magic points."
I took out my magic points checking tool and activated it. It's true, my points have already reached ten thousand.
10,134/10,256
Even I had no idea... He was able to tell from just me giving out my all.
"That's amazing. I have lived for three hundred years, and just now I have found someone else who has reached the ten thousand mark."
"You... how old are you?"
I completely forgot that elves have a very different aging process than us humans. To them, time is simply slower, but they still count their ages the same as us, which is on a yearly basis.
"I'm 312 this year. But really, don't worry about an elf's age. Our age counter is a little bit different than you humans. To the other elves, I'm somewhere around 25 human years old."
I knew it...
"D-Damn..."
"It must be shocking for humans. But, that's the truth. Elves usually die of old age at the age of one thousand and beyond. But normally we would die from other reasons before we reach even the eight hundreds."
"Then, you must be considered young to the other elves?"
"Yes. I am quite young."
"W-Wow..."
My mind got blown away. Elves do live a long time, and that's insane to think about. A thousand years is dying of old age? It's like they are nearly immortal.
"Yes. We are nearly immortal indeed."
He suddenly said as he drank his tea.
"Oh, this tea came from my space ring. Did you know that a higher level space rings can keep the temperature of any item? You can basically grab a snow from a mountain and came to the beach, with the snow still intact."
I haven't even asked about that. No, I haven't even thought about asking it. But I was about to ask about his tea. That means...
"Mind reader."
