I explained to them a slight recap about what happened yesterday. We tiered up our magic, as well as learning even deeper about our abilities.
And, now that there is no school tomorrow, we will have more time training than yesterday.
"... Which is why for today, I want to make things a little bit more packed. For those who weren't here yesterday, please line up at the cliff's edge. As for those who are already tiering up, form your groups based on your magic affinities that you wanted to learn, just like yesterday."
And just like that, the students quickly dispersed and followed my command. Those who were not here yesterday quickly formed a long line towards the mountain's edge behind us, where they will be shooting some abilities to the skies above it. The others who stayed are grouping with their own elemental groups for a much deeper training.
I approached the elemental groups one by one before going to the tiering up group. I told them about showing each other skills that they had learned so that everyone else can learn it too. Doing this might give them a more skill choice to use during combat and will definitely be useful.
As for the ones with more than one affinities, they can just visit the other groups after they are done training with one group. It's quite simple.
After explaining to them, I went to the tiering up group.
"Now then. You all weren't here yesterday, and I got to say, I was pretty disappointed."
Oh yeah. They all looked pained and ashamed.
"But it doesn't matter. What matters is that you all are now here. So, let's begin."
One by one I taught them the way to tier up. Some of them managed to do it, but a handful of them actually couldn't. This is because those who couldn't do it had already tiered up just recently, and it was too soon for them to tier up.
And after a while, everyone else had received their fair share of tiering up. They all grinned at their new strength and really wanted to burst out.
I spent the whole night going from group to group, watching over their progress.
The wind magic affinity group is learning how to float and fly, since they all saw Jericho and Manda and wished to be the same as them. They also taught each other how to do some powerful wind strikes like the wind slashes or the wind balls for a closer contact.
I also told them about Cony's wind blade technique that she did back then, how a wind blade exploded as soon as it came into contact, so they quickly tried studying about it too.
I visited the fire magic group and gave them a few tips on how to make firebombs. As a result, six fire element students including Manda now can use firebombs, a much more powerful version of fireballs.
Though in the process of teaching, three students managed to have their firebombs explode on their hands multiple times, and I had to heal them every time.
I mean back then, I exploded way more from training that firebomb technique. Maybe because I was too greedy and wanted to speed things up with the training, but at least now I can do it. They are certainly doing it a lot better than I did since I'm teaching them directly.
I even nearly lost my hand once when I was first training it… that was quite scary.
I came to the shadow group and started learning from Elmone. He gave me some tips on what shadow attacks to use, like shadow whips and shadow tails. He also gave me information on how to make your shadow much sturdier, which is surprisingly helpful and easy to do.
The night quickly passed, and by the time anyone realizes, it's already midnight.
"Okay everyone. It's already midnight. Let's all return together."
I said to everyone else from the top of a large boulder in the area, and they all nodded to me. Tonight, nearly everyone tiered up, and everyone received new techniques or skills to try out.
Tomorrow, we'll test out these skills.

At the same time when Rize and the others are returning to the academy, a group of people are grouping up on top of the class building's roof. Every single one of them are wearing white robes with a blue hood on the top.
The Disciplinary Committee members of the Xyphon Magic Academy.
They all stayed in silence as they waited anxiously.
TAP!!
The silence broke when someone landed on the roof. The person who landed is also a white robed person, and the person approached the others.
"How… did it go?"
One of the white robes who were waiting, a male, quickly asked the newly arrived member. The member quickly removed the hood and showed her beautiful face.
But, her expression shows only anger.
"Bad… The headmaster was the only one supporting us, but he won't be here when it happens."
Everyone else quickly fell into despair. Something huge is happening, but the headmaster is disappearing.
"Fuck… Did the headmaster say anything else?"
The male asked again, and the female nodded slowly.
"He said… we will have a secret ally."
"God damn it… Headmaster Veneo and his stupid riddles!"
The male then turned to face the sky, unbelieving of the whole situation. The whole thing has gone to shit when their vice leader got amnesia for some reason, and now the headmaster is playing riddles with them.
He just can't believe it.
"He said… this ally is very strong… stronger than any demons."
"How can anyone be stronger than demons? Are they even humans? Not even us, the disciplinary committee, can even face them head on!"
The male seemed to be very angry, but the girl was no less angry. Everyone else also seemed pissed. To them, all hope is nearly gone.
They can only rely on this so-called 'ally'.
"Tell us more."
Another person came forward. She had her hood off, showing her orange hair and usual cold expression. Her blue eyes are gazing at the other party, wanting for answers.
It's the council president, Milly.
The girl nodded and quickly told everyone about what she heard from the meeting with the headmaster.
"From the sound of it… we never had a choice to begin with…"
Milly mumbled as she glared down sadly. The gears in her head are already overly spinning, and yet she just couldn't get a hold of any answer.
After all, not even their vice leader, a top 5 student from the second year can defeat the demon that is lurking in the academy.
If the headmaster trusted this ally so much, then they must be powerful.
"We have no choice... We have to trust this ally."
Milly spoke out loud to everyone, and they all nodded. She turned her gaze to the messenger girl.
"Did the headmaster give you any way to contact this ally?"
