"My name is Rize Violet. Nice to meet you."
I bowed slightly at them. As soon as I introduced my name, the male senior quickly squinted his eyes.
"Rize Violet... Now where did I hear that name?"
He said as he fixed his glasses again. How many times are you going to fix your glasses position?! Get new glasses, damn it.
"I know exactly where."
The auburn female senior stood up and walked. She stopped right in front of me, as she glared at me with a wide grin and a demeaning look.
"You are the little bitch who challenged the whole academy."
""Ah...""
Everyone else quickly recognized me the moment she spoke.
"That's me, all right."
I formed a fearless grin on my face, and she replied with a wider grin too. She lifted her right hand and moved at high speed. The hand landed on my left shoulder while her left hand formed a thumb.
"That's some great courage! Really great!"
"W-What?"
I immediately got confused. I thought she would hate me or something.
"Just for your information, newbie, this girl has been talking non stop about you the moment you showed up and challenged everyone at that ceremony."
The male glasses senior pointed his book at the auburn haired female as he spoke. Looks like she is a fan of mine.
"I-Is that so...?"
"Yeah, yeah. She just can't stop about how 'great' you are for declaring war with the whole academy."
The old looking senior spoke from her side as she took a sip on her drink, while the blonde glasses female just chuckled.
"Because I think you are worthy."
The auburn haired senior fixed her posture. Then, she placed her right hand forming a fist on her chest.
"Being brave is the first step to gaining strength! And gaining strength, means the existence of survival!"
She said it like a vow or something. I don't know, it just looks very honourable.
"And you, girl, are brave. I like it!"
She moves her hand forward, asking for a handshake.
"I'm Lezlia. Leader of the healing magic club. Nice to meet you."
I took her hand and formed a handshake.
"Nice to meet you too."
"Now, then-"
She grabbed me and pushed me forward. I am now standing only a meter away from the nearest sofa.
"-That glasses guy is Kelmar. He is supposedly our best physical healer. He does operations and stuff.
The girl drinking her infinite tea cup is Filma. Don't be fooled by her old appearance. She is only a second year, but she looks quite old because of the wrinkles on her face."
"These are caused by my Lack-Of-Sleep!"
"And the blondy here is Megisca. She is the best healing mage after me and she is the one who makes the medicines and stuff."
"Nice to meet youu~"
The blonde glasses senior, Megisca, waves her hand at me. It would be rude not to wave back.
I looked around the room a little bit more to study it. This room is quite spacious, and there's a little bit of space at the far end of the room from the door, but that's about it.
"If you are wondering about what we are doing everyday... Well, we heal people. That's about it."
Filma said as she placed her tea back on the table. That tea sure is limitless.
"How... How many people do you heal in a day?"
"Let's see... On weekdays, there usually wasn't that much because people usually focus on studying. But on weekends, they always challenge each other, and they always end up in the infirmary."
"Oh... Speaking of which, is that room... The infirmary?"
I pointed at the room behind me, but Filma shook her head.
"No, that was an extension of our club room which got turned into a hospital room per the headmasters request. The infirmary is large, but it couldn't hold them all, so they ended up here."
"W-Wow... And I thought there's already a lot here..."
"If there's plenty here, there's even more at the infirmary. You'll be surprised. You are new after all. But really, getting injured after fighting is completely normal."
Filma said as she drank more of her tea. Now, I can tell it completely. She only took a very small amount every time she placed the tea in her mouth. That's why it's never ending.
She drinks for the act!
"Yeah. And sometimes, we even got kicked out from our own club room because it's too full. I think it was… last Saturday? There's like hundreds of people in the infirmary already and the rest were moved here. This whole room was basically injured people."
The male senior, Kelmar, added to the story. He turned another page as he spoke.
"W-Wow... That's insane..."
"In any case, it's not like we can't heal them. But, we do have our own limits. Right now, Filma and Megisca are doing the healing, while I am having a day off."
He continued as he turned another page.
"Oh... You are taking turns."
"Of course! We could be dead if we kept on healing them."
The leader of the club, Lezlia, said as she walked back to her position on the front sofa. Megisca told me to sit on the sofa in front of me, so I followed her and sat next to her.
"Oh, right. Me and Megisca are from the second year, while Kelmar and the leader are in their third year. We never really get many members in any year, and surprisingly, you are the only one from this year."
Filma explained to me.
"I... I see. That's sad."
"I know, right. But, it's already like a culture. Healing magic is being overly looked down on by everyone."
"R-Right. Even though it's the strongest magic."
Probably because they are incredibly heavy and costly to use…
But, I agree. Healing magic is the strongest magic. Of course, the usage isn't cheap, but for the club to only have four members, it is a bit…
