Twenty Five

Lady Vivian keeps on staring at Typhis as she senses something in him then looks at Historia still smiling. "Can I talk to you, Lady Historia? It is very important so I want to have a conversation with you where there are no people around," she said and looked at Typhis. "You can bring your wonderful pet with you if you want!" Lady Vivian exclaimed.

'Take the bait, I am with you,' Typhis reassured Historia, convincing her to agree to Lady Vivian. She follows her and stops when Historia thinks they are getting too far away. Typhis, on the other hand, senses Zion following them after the Duke notices Historia will be with Lady Vivian. Lady Vivian continues to talk about the things she enjoys at the Celebration. Talking about the designs and how amazed she was to see so many nobles at the celebration. She also expressed surprise that the Brimrock Family attended the celebration.

'The Falcon is not a real bird; rather, it is a magical detection device. Maybe the bird senses something from me, which is why it keeps staring at me. Typhis speaks through Historia's mind, "This Falcon appears to be the animal form of Liege, the wind spirit." Historia simply stares at Vivian's back, who continues to yap. She started to walk again and let out a heavy sigh.

Historia was becoming bored and irritated as Lady Vivian kept yapping. "Only if I could smack her in the back, I will definitely do it," she murmured.

Typhis grinned and said, "Why don't you do it then?" He said, and Lady Vivian immediately turned to face Historia behind her.

"Did I just hear a man's voice?" she asks while looking around and pointing her eyes to Historia. causing her to pause from walking. Historia crossed her arms and studied Vivian intently.

"What do you want from me, Lady Vivian? Let us get straight to the point, what. do. you. want. from. me?" Historia asks seriously, which surprises Lady Vivian and widens her eyes. Lady Vivian's eyes became serious seconds later as if the Vivian Historia knew had changed. She was like another person, and her eyes had changed to those of a killer.

"What do you know, Lady Historia? What did you hear? I saw you. I know you heard everything," Lady Vivian said sternly, glaring at her, but Historia didn't move even a bit.

"I'm not sure what you're talking about, Lady Vivian; is there anything I should know?" Historia asked innocently, raising Vivian's eyebrows. She studied her and concluded that Historia's actions and words were true. It appears that she knows nothing, which confuses Vivian because she saw her that night, but the lady's response to her suggests that she is truly innocent. The wind can also tell her that she knows nothing.

"Acting like innocent, Lady Historia? Just tell me the truth. I won't harm you if you tell me the truth, or else, maybe I will kill that pet of yours," Vivian said, intending to take Typhis away from Historia using her wind, but she couldn't because there was a blue barrier surrounding Typhis, making her eyes widen. "You have magic?" she asks, surprised.

Historia simply stares at Vivian, acting as if she is the one who created the barrier. She gave her a grin, which caused Vivian to take a step back, her eyes widening as she looked at Historia. She could not believe what she had seen. "What? Why you are walking backwards Lady Vivian? Now that you have done that, I can finally see your original self. The innocent and sweet-looking Lady Vivian Hesthburg can also have this kind of side. That can also kill people. I wonder what would be the people will react after knowing such things?" Historia raises her voice. Vivian simply gave her a grin after hearing that and stood up properly, perplexing Historia.

Vivian laughed, prompting Historia to look at her and be wary of her actions. She was unsure whether Vivian would attack her right away. "And then? Do you think people will believe you? Your reputation doesn't have any effect on the empire, Historia. You have nothing to brag about as people in the empire only know how dumb you are. Even though you will try to tell this to your father and Redam, they still won't believe you," Vivian went on to say. Historia grins and moves closer to Lady Vivian.

When Historia is a meter away from her, she stops walking. "Do you think you're the only genius here? I can't blame you," she said, causing Vivian to raise her eyebrows. "Let us see, Vivian. Let us see who will be the one to remain standing," she went on to say. Vivian scoffs and laughs again.

"You're bold enough to say that, huh? I won't let you ruin everything, Historia Crane. I am not a fool. Always know your target and know where you belong. Because if not, you will be buried beneath the ground and people won't even have time to mourn your death," Lady Vivian says with a smirk.

Historia continues to smirk and speak. "I don't need their sympathy anyway, I only have one goal. That is to know everything about you and your family, Lady Vivian. You can do anything you want but you can't bring me down. Seeing that my guts really are true makes me want to know you more. I guess, everything that happened in my life seems you have something to do with it. Especially to the time that I was locked up and starved almost to death by "poisoning" you."

"And you think I am the one who did that? I am not responsible for what you have done to the crown princess, Lady Historia. Of course, I am the beloved partner of the crown prince. He will do any length to punish and kill you. One more and you will be beheaded publicly," Vivian replied to her statement.

"Don't underestimate a fool and a dumb woman like myself, Lady Vivian. There are still things you don't know about me." Vivian remained silent for a moment after hearing it, then looked down to the ground and smiled at Historia before speaking.

"You really want to fight against the Hesthburg Family? Then I will give you a seat, Lady Historia."

Historia giggled after hearing that. "Then I will sit comfortably, Lady Vivian," she replied with a grin on her face.
