Chapter 131 - Internal Conflict

When Gustavo reached the goblins' camp, he couldn't help but furrow his eyebrows. The place was in a small, dark forest, and they were hiding in the shadows of the trees. That wasn't very unexpected considering their usual behavior, but thinking that they would set their camp there was very unusual. Perhaps there should be other variations...

"They are the sneaky type… this will be hard for the others to handle," Gustavo thought. "We can't afford to lose anyone, so I will have to do this."

Gustavo took several deep breaths before going to the forest. He couldn't tell the level or the strength of the monsters, so the first encounters were always the most nerve wracking.

Eventually, he made up his mind and then charged toward the forest with his sword in hand. When he crossed the first few trees, he felt something like a cold hand in his stomach, and the feeling became more powerful when the goblins left the shadows of the trees and surrounded him.
