A few hours into the day, Arette decided to take a walk around the house—she needed to know her way around if she planned to escape.

She walked through the passageway, memorising every left and right until she got to the railings from which the living area could be seen. She stood by the railings and stared down at the main door, which was guarded by a fingerprint device. She racked her brain for a way to get her fingerprint registered in the device but knew there was no way.

The whole 'pretend to love him back' plan was to get her fingerprint registered into the device, but the plan had backfired on her, and April even lost her life in the process. This caused a single tear to drop from her eye, and she quickly wiped it off because crying was a sign of weakness she didn't want to show.

If April were alive, she wouldn't want her crying.
