(Leonard and Mingcheng face each other in the duel.)

LEONARD

Don’t you need a sword to fight against me?

MINGCHENG

Nah, I don’t need swords to fight. I’ll use my fists.

LEONARD

Very well. Then let’s get this duel started.

MINGCHENG

Fire fist!

(He shoots a blazing fire in the shape of his fist at Leonard.)

LEONARD

Smirks.

(Using his sword, Leonard blocks the attack but it sends him crashing to the arena’s wall.)

TESSA

Nice one, Mingcheng.

KNIGHT 1

Whoa! I never knew that a fire Dragon slayer was this strong. Even Sir, Leonard wasn’t able to withhold his attack.

MINGCHENG

Are you alright?

LEONARD

Holy light slash!

(A bunch of yellow slashes head towards Mingcheng. Mingcheng quickly dodges them.)

MINGCHENG

What kind of magic is that?

LEONARD

I knew that you’ll ask that. my magic is called the Holy Light magic. It’s a magic ability that was blessed to me by the Goddess of Light.

MINGCHENG

It’s almost like the magic that the Hero used to fight against the Demon King.

LEONARD

Hahahaha! Someone did their homework.

MINGCHENG

Hehehe! Things have gotten exciting.

(He charges at Leonard.)

MINGCHENG

Dragon blazing claw!

(He shapes his hands in the shape of a claw and attacks Leonard as his hands are surrounded by fire.)

LEONARD

Holy strike.

(Leonard does another slash. This time Mingcheng blocks it. Then he leaps in the air and shoots another fire at Leonard. Leonard blocks it.)

MINGCHENG

Is blocking the only thing you can do. How about this?

(He forms more fire balls.)

LEONARD

MINGCHENG

Let’s see how well, you can dodge this. Dragon’s comet!

(He shoots down the fire balls at Leonard.)

LEONARD

I don’t need to dodge. I’ll just slash it down with my next attack. Maiden’s Light!

(He does one huge slash from his sword slashing the fire balls a part of the arena.)

KNIGHT 1

Damn! Those guys are like monsters!

HARRY

How, interesting. So, that kid known as Mingcheng is that strong. He’s almost in the same league as the Grand master.

BLONDE WOMAN NAMED BELITA

He’s in the same league as the Uncle.

HARRY

Princess, I wasn’t aware that you were also going to watch the fight.

BELITA

This fight will be like a lesson to me as I start my journey as a Holy knight. Father will have to accept me.

HARRY

What kind of magic was that?! it almost slashed me in half!

LEONARD

MINGCHENG

(He tries form another fire magic but nothing comes out.)

LEONARD

That magic attack earlier drained up your mana. You should rest up.

MINGCHENG

I don’t think you guys need my help in fighting the Black Order who’re making plans to resurrect the demon king.

JAMES

Eh?! Why?

MINGCHENG

You guys are strong. You can even fight the demon king without even needing my help. I’ll only support you and I need to find my Grampa.

JAMES

I see.

(Mingcheng’s stomach grumbles.)

MINGCHENG

I’m so hungry.

LEONARD

Hahahaha! Let’s go inside. We’ll have a banquet for you.

(After dinner, Mingcheng and Tessa head to the guest bedroom.)

MINGCHENG

That was some nice food. I’m stuffed.

TESSA

It’s not like every day you eat some good food.

(However, they encounter a conversation.)

BELITA

Father, you have to let me become a Holy Knight. I can fight too.

JAMES

I refuse.

BELITA

Why? I’m not a little kid anymore. I can defend on my own. And look I can also use my magic power. You have to let me be a holy knight.

JAMES

That’s a no. I’m not sending my daughter into battle.

BELITA

Does this have to do with Mother’s death? Mother too was a Holy knight. Are you refusing me to become a Holy Knight, because you’re thinking that I’m going to die like how Mother did.

JAMES

Go to your room. We’re not having this discussion again.

(Belita runs away almost bumping into Mingcheng.)

JAMES

Sigh! What a stubborn daughter I have.

(Meanwhile a purple haired woman stares at the moon. A dark mage suddenly appears before her.)

DARK MAGE

Abyss Princess the preparations are complete. Let’s now start the next phase of our plan.

(She nods. She wears a necklace that is almost the same as the one that Mingcheng wears.)
