"What?" Megara stared at Agnes in shock. "You told him what?" She questioned, abruptly standing up from the buffer she was seated on. "Pardon me. If I didn't give him any expectation, he would have forfeited the contest and performed very poorly which might have led him to get berated by his father." Agnes said, slightly stepping back from Megara.

Megara stared at Agnes with a 'fed up' gaze. Megara sighed and looked out of the window. It was dark outside and almost past dinner time. "You meet him at this hour. Please, go. I don't know what you're going through and I won't propel you to tell me but at least go there. Don't converse much, if you don't want to. Your presence alone will be enough to make him happy." Agnes said, almost begging.
