"Have you lost your mind?" Agnes asked. "That boy looked so miserable and desperate when he came to me," Agnes said in wrath. Her chest heaving up and down rapidly, indicating that she ran. Megara, who was sitting on the wooden floor of the veranda with a liquor jar in her hand, passed a side glance towards Agnes.
"He came to you?" She asked and Agnes nodded. Megara sighed and looked up at the cloudy sky. Yesterday, she completely degraded him. She knew he was going through a tough time because of her but so was she going through a tough time because of him.
"I suggest you stay away from him," Megara said and took a sip of the liquor in her hand. Agnes' jaw twitched and she got down from the wooden floor now standing on the ground, in front of Megara.
