Cute Darling

The bar shift was livelier than the lunch service. It seemed that the darker the sky outside was, the more active the people of the island became.

Geale watched groups of people happily walk into the doors of the beach house restaurant bar as he sat in a corner of the counter next to Tia. He almost felt guilty that he wasn't doing anything to serve them.

"Don't worry, they got this," Tia assured, nodding toward the short bartender at the helm of the service.

"Hey! Long time no see," the young bartender greeted as the customers walked in.

"Ainsely!" the people greeted, just as warmly as people greeted Marnthe during the lunch service. "Do you have my usual?"

"Already ahead of you. Take a seat," Ainsely proudly said, nodding at an available seat along the bar counter.

Geale stared wide-eyed at the exchange. Ainsely was the shortest of the staff members, but their confidence was no doubt the most prominent.
