Returning Unspoken Love Favors

"Here," Ken said, offering Geale and Serena a portfolio as he sat across from them for a light lunch at a café.

He took them to the shopping district after picking them up from the library and led them to a coffee place that served meals. He insisted on paying for their orders since it was the first time they were dining there at his invitation.

"You dine here often?" Serena asked.

Ken smiled. "Hima does. She likes their tonkatsu curry."

The café featured an assortment of popular dishes from different cuisines on their menu. They served mochi donuts alongside pan de mallorca. For meals, they offered jerk chicken, ravioli, and crispy pork cutlets to name a few. As an establishment specializing in drinks, it offered a list of coffee-based concoctions, hot and iced teas, and tropical fruit shakes.

"So you brought us here because you're whipped?" Serena teased.

"I like their iced coffee," Ken defended, shyly looking away. "Hima's meeting us here."
