Part 3: Invasion 2 (18+)

If one is still oblivious of why the scream then my only answer was she had done what the man had told her not to, and clamped down on his ‘bit’. At the same time I heard a grunt from the one behind Caela, obvious, he had just ‘finished’.

“Bitch!!” He roared immediately pulling out, Caela’s mouth bloody and so who his ‘rod’ gushing blood from a deep cut.

When her mouth was free she spit out the blood and threw curses my way, but looking from where the injured man stood no one would suspect someone watching behind from the open door.

Her hysteria is amusing. It’s quite bothersome though, these men aren’t well trained, they have no sense of intent, nor one for their surroundings. Should I dare enter now they might as well be dead before they realize, but I have no such thought for them.

“The Bitch’s gone crazy.” One spoke.

“Did she break already, no fun.” Said another.

Immediately the injured one let loose a heavy back hand slap, but with the firm grip of the one behind her she stood.

Her already bruise face might have been rocked because when she jerked her head back towards me, hair flaring but a moment, I could see blood trickle down from her nose, as she continued throwing curses.

“You okay?” One of the man drew new to the injured man, now looking pale.

“Do I look okay!!? The cunt bit me.”

“That’s what you get sticking it into the wrong hole.”

“Shit!” The injured man cursed.

Through the pain he lunged forward grabbing her hair forcing up her head cutting her off from her hysteric spouting.

“You know what, I don’t think I like them feisty, the cold quiet one will do.”

“And you still going to stick it in with that?”

“The fuck I will! I’ll fuck her bloody and she’ll feel it in afterlife!”

“Gross.”

“But first…” Even in pain he pulled out a dagger strapped behind his back and staggered over towards Varden, who stared back with burning gaze, unbridled rage.—If looks could kill.

If giving the chance to escape their grasp he wouldn’t waste time to kill them in the most cruelest way possible.

The one behind Caela grabbed her by the hair facing her towards who was still struggling from the grip of the two holding him. The one holding on to his hair let go and also pull out a dagger and pressed it on his neck to deter him from more struggling.

The injured man angled himself before Varden lowering himself to his gaze and turned to Caela.

With a pained expression he spoke: “I really wanted to see him despair more when all sorts of things are done to you, but you see… well I really hate the chatter so without waste, any last words?” He turned asking Varden.

The flames in his eyes still burning and the face of the man so close to him he quickly pulled his head back and slammed it forward into the soldier’s face. His action made the knife scratch him drawing blood which trickled down his neck. And a soft crack, the soldier’s nose was broken.

“Shit!!” Pained the soldier grabbed his nose taking a step back, feeling the blood trickle down his fingers he clenched his bloodied fist and punched hard into Varden’s cheek. “How unlucky can I get?!” He roared, pained.

“That does not look good.”

“That must hurt.”

“Shut up!!” The injured soldier roared.

“Really, today just isn’t you day.” Said one of the two holding Varden.

“Shit! Fucking hurts.”

Varden looked towards Caela, heavy bruise on his cheek, blood sliding down the corner of his lips and one nostril.

“Beloved,” he gave a warm smile staring into the eyes of the disheveled Caela. “We shall meet again on the other side, we will be a family again. I will wait for you.”

“No…” She cried, not wanting to accept it.

How noble. That’s me being sarcastic. Though, well, living with them it’s clear he really loves Caela.

“How touching. Fret not. You wouldn’t have to wait that long. She will join you momentarily.” Said the injured soldier, his hand no longer his face, half his face smeared and with trickles of blood.

“For just that I’m going to savor this.”

He stood at his former position before Varden but this time a step away. He placed the tip of the knife to the left side of his chest. Slowly he put force pushing the knife in. Gritting his teeth, Varden’s head turned red, slowly growing pale, as his bore through the pain… The blade sank into his chest deeper and deeper drawing blood…

“I love you, Caela, my beloved.”

With that the other soldier with a free hand who was holding him grabbed his head and the other with the knife slashed his neck.

“Noo!!!” Caela cried tears streaming down.

Like a river, blood flowed from his neck. The two let go off him and one gave a gentle push to Varden and with a thud his body fell face first, blood pooling on the floor.

Reflexively I glanced down at Blaire. Still quiet, barely any reaction at all. I wonder how she was feeling seeing her father die before her… and soon her mother would follow.

Maybe she really had no clue as to what is happening? Or was it something else?

Looking at it: Varden’s death was rather merciful, I doubt Caela would have it easy. If it had been a few lifetimes back where I hacked away my frustrations claiming lives in the most vicious way possible then… let’s just say he would beg for the sweet release death brought.

“It’s your turn.” He turned straddling back to Caela. Again if looks could kill, she looked back at him with pure hate. “Now then shall we get started.” With that he stabbed his dagger into her shoulder. She let out a scream. When her voice calmed a little, the look in her eyes, defiance.

I admire her courage.

“How look at that burning gaze I wonder how long you’d keep it on.”

So he went on, cutting and stabbing hoping to relish in her pain and despair, but she stood firm, bloodied, if only for a few moment before sinking to a dull, lifeless.

Truly admirable.

Looking at her I wonder how I should feel. The was never a bond so nothing swell from deep within. But…

I pity her, yes pity, and now the lifeless look she has towards me, a fading glimmer to be save.

She must truly think me a devil now. I know not what she did in her past life to have deserved this.
