Sleepover: 2

"This shirt I haven't worn often, it's brand new so..and these pants are small enough. They're ones I use to wear 3 years ago. They're clean."

Lincoln explained. Body language that seems cool and composed but the pacing of his words is jumbled. It was weird, but amusing how Tulip only now notices. Today she has teased him enough, so she only thanks him and takes the clothes.

"You can change in my bedroom…or not, change in the bathroom. Ah, that's all the way upstairs, well you already know that. Should I just turn around?"

With that Tulip doesn't hold back and hits him. Then she crosses her arms when satisfied, her eyebrow lifted, giving him her most ill-mannered expression.

"Ow.."

"I'll change in the bathroom."

"Suit yourself."

Tulip made her way up the stairs that's beside the living room, Lincoln looked up at her as she did. Tulip stops mid way and mutters loud enough for Lincoln to hear.

"Pervert."

"?!"

After changing, Tulip is back downstairs with Lincoln sitting on the ground before a low table drinking tea in his living room. Lincoln secret of making origamis has been found out so he's now sitting beside her making some cat origami. Tulip is flipping through the pages, turning back when Lincoln would ask her to.

"Ahh what the, this makes no sense."

"Turn back, turn back."

Lincoln would say, messing up the instructions or forgetting them. For someone like Lincoln who does suck with remembering stuff, instructions at that, Tulip was surprised at his newfound hobby because of that fact. He hasn't told her of the reason, but she wasn't so curious anyway. Hobbies come and go.

"There's so many origami's of cats.."

She mumbles, flipping the pages of never ending cat designs. The chapters are ordered by colours, a table of contents is situated at the front of the book. For an origami book, this is pretty impressive. It's kind of funny than fascinating, Lincoln, out of everyone, is interested in making cat origami's.

It kind of makes sense if you look at his character which is allover the place, his outer appearance you'd see a mature guy, but in reality its a guy who tries to be mature but is actually like the rest of the people his age. Well, that's why he's different to Walter, Ronan and Piper.

Tulip smiles, turning the book back to the page where Lincoln is following. It was of a cat that's positioned as a 'loaf', the book says. Wandering her eyes around the room, she reaches to the couch where lays another book, one Lincoln brought out of his room.

"A book about cats? Wow, you're pretty serious about this Lincoln."

"What about it?"

The book is about cats, even more than the other one. The origami book already talks about cats and positions which is honestly a bit much for someone who doesn't care all that much about cats. They're cute or whatever, her bird in Seathe is way cuter though.

Lincoln retorts defensively, not totally blow on her just a sassy reply. She opens the book, this one doesn't have a table of contents, funny, this one looks more 'official' than the origami is but, sure.

Calico, white cats, white cats with blue eyes, fluffy white cats, heterochromia cats, black cats…a lot of cats. Then about the meanings of licking you, blinking at you and meowing.

Tulip glances at Lincoln and the book then him again. No matter how unusual he is, is this for real?

"What?"

Lincoln cold eyes look at her and the book she is holding.

"You're interested?"

"Uhm..no, are you?"

Folding the paper of his origami shaping ears, Lincoln doesn't answer. Instead goes back fixated on that loaf cat of his. Tulip shrugs internally and goes back flipping its pages.

"Haha, this cat looks like you."

Tulip laughs, pointing at the page and twist her wrist to show what she is talking about to Lincoln. Lincoln takes his eyes off his origami and inspects the cat drawn on the book. A white slightly fluffy cat that has a single black spot on the crown of its head. It has pale blue eyes and its nose and paws are a cutesy pink.

"See? It's white like you and it's like it has black hair, like you!"

After looking at the picture Lincoln stares at Tulip with no reaction. Tulip then shuts up but peeks at the picture and back at him, with a persistent face that says 'you see? see?'.

However Lincoln turns back to his origami, again not saying anything.

"What's this? Why are you being so quiet when I'm talking to you?"

"Stop lying."

"What?"

Tulip was expecting something in the words of she's annoying or to stop bothering him. What does 'stop lying mean'? I mean, to not lie but like, where's the snappy Lincoln?

"It really does."

"You know you're saying I'm handsome right now, right?'

"…"

What's this guy saying now?
