Kieran's Battle For Permission (1)

2 weeks before the Wyrm Howl Cult invasion.

Kieran rubbed his temples as he focused hard on the badge he got from the man from the Moonlit city coast. None of it made sense to him other then the fact it reminded him of the Silver Hounds a group that were known for their skilled and investigators. 

But their infamy came from the fact that they were so close to capturing and destroying the Wyrm Howl Cult, and the only reason they failed was because the leader's right hand was a traitor. As such the infamous Silver Hound Execution incident was known all to Tundor city and the entire Atlas Continent.

It was fourteen years ago that this incident occurred and its influence still exists because it caused the decline of people becoming policemen or policewomen and the retirement of many investigators.

Everyone feared the Wyrm Howl Cult due to their power, influence, and political control they had on Atlas. This cult had been alive since the Dark Ages of man, although their leader changed a lot. The power and influence was still there even until present time no one except the Silver Hounds has gotten close to capturing all of them. 

"I wonder if that traitor can help. No, I don't need that bastard's help," he thought before placing the badge in his pocket.

As he thought of figuring out what the badge could mean he remembered of his battle against Laxus Draco in the coast of Moonlit City.

Back at the coast of Moonlit

Kieran stood in front of the silver haired man both of them shirtless and ready to attack at each other.

"Show me boy, why you need to get into Manor Black!" he exclaimed.

Rushing towards Kieran, he grabbed him by his face and tossed him into the sky.

Turning his body Kieran dodged a tree that was thrown at him before retaliating with a ball of water surrounded in lighting. He tossed it towards Laxus who pridefully grinned and took the hit with his chest.

"Wonderful! Come on boy, you can do better then that!" Laxus roared out before jumping high into the air, and grabbed his neck throwing him to the ground creating a massive crater.

"Mark of the King: Dread Claw!" 

Both of Laxus's hands turned into black lionlike claws covered in white fur with a black aura emitting from it. 

This wasn't just a battle for Kieran to have permission to go to Manor Black but also to approval from the Sovereign of Beasts that he deserved to be known as Moby Dick.

With one powerful swing towards Kieran's left cheek it created a massive clawed wound on it. He stumbled back before clasping both his hands together which made the sky dark and gloomy as the clouds hover over them.

"Moby Dick: Azure Thunder!" he exclaimed.

Soon all the vapor in the air vanished and all rushed back creating a massive water and thunder storm which are all aimed at Laxus.

The trees around them shake frantically while the waves get stronger and push more towards the beach all while the thunder bolts strike Laxus.

Laxus growled like a lion as he jumped towards a tree and sent a wave of black energy from his claws. His silver hair started growling longer as his beard formed into a mane and his teeth grew sharper and his facial features morphed to be more beastial.

"Show me why you're Moby Dick!" he snarled before going on all fours and rushing towards Kieran.

Blue.lightning emitted from the body of Kieran as tattoos of sea animals appear on his body all colored dark blue. Against each other it was the Sovereign of Beasts against the Very Embodiment of the Ocean And Storms.

"Mark of the King; Crown Release: 100%!" Laxus roared, his voice turning guttural and more animallike as his body grew bigger and taller with a long white tail.

His body now covered in white fur, and his face and hair being the shape of a lion while his claws got even more sharper and longer. Combined he had the strength of bear, the tenacity of a honey badger, and the mentality of a lion and the body of one. Laxus Draco truly lived up to the title of Sovereign of Beasts and one of the strongest Echo users.

"Come to me, my daring prey!" he roared as he rushed towards Kieran on all fours.

Kieran coldly walked towards him as fishes, and other sea creatures float into the air following him. With a flick of his finger; four sharks chomp down on the body of Laxus who had a prideful grin.

All the sharks teeth broke due to the hardness of the muscle and fur of Laxus which were as durable as steel. Using his weight, he jumped into the air with so much force the ground beneath him cracked.

The sharks that chomped down on his body were flung off him due to the high winds and force of that jump. Laxus's bodyguards and Leilah stared at the sight of the battle that happened in front of them.

All of them knew that after they were done the blood of their battle would've dirtied ground, the nearby trees uprooted, nearby buildings destroyed, and innocent civilians dead or families broken. 

The ocean's waves got stronger, the winds grew larger, stronger, and thicker creating multiple tornados, the sea creatures floating around Kieran started to attack the nearby land animals that Laxus controlled.

The whole coast was in a tiring and destructive battle, Moonlit nearby was about to get hit by the hurricane that manifested because of Kieran's attacks. Yet he hasn't even used his "True" form, which would've made the battle much worse.

Even seeing all this, Laxus remained calm and even laughed in proud hysteria as he finally got what he wanted an amazing battle.

"Show me more!" he roared in happiness, his grin growing wide.

He tried to tackle Kieran, but he vanished and reappeared behind him; kicking him towards a palm tree splitting it in half.

And from the beach house of Laxus, 50 packs of wolves rushed out to attack Kieran. To counter the wolves, he sent out 50 piranhas as they clashed blood splattered everywhere and the organs splattered across the ground like paint on a canvas.

The coast was literally destroyed due to the storm created by Kieran and the slashes and powerful roars of Laxus.

And due to the storm being so strong it also hit Moonlit and while all this is happening; on the roof of a massive tower the Wyrm Howl Cult watches the scene as they take note of their abilities and how they fight.

"A foolish match if I say so myself," one of them said with a mocking tone.

"Do we really have to watch them? one of them asked.

Standing in between them was a woman wearing the same crimson robe and hood but her face was also covered by a vulture mask and her voice muffled as she spoke.

"We cannot underestimate them, do remember they have the power to destroy countries,"

Hearing this, the two other members stay quiet and watch the fight with their leader.

Laxus was currently riding one of the sharks that were thrown at him. He sent out multiple waves of dark claw slashes at Kieran all while Kieran dodges the attacks and sent a massive beam of ice combined with electricity.

"Let us enjoy this battle until we die!" exclaimed Laxus.

"Shut up, and fall and give me the permission to head to Manor Black," Kieran replied indifferently.
