Almost, But Not Quite

It was so very difficult to get good help these days. Which made it impossible to find a good spy. When the first one had failed him, Sebastian had almost given up. But he had not, instead he had chosen to be patient, and go for a spy that would not be so obvious. It was a pity that that had failed too. But the mousy woman's useless observations, her name already forgotten, had been enough for Sebastian to start thinking that there was something else going on.

Which was why he had decided to confront his nephew now instead of staying away like he had done all of this time. There had to be something, something that he was missing. Something that could be used as an advantage so that he could dethrone his nephew.

So there he was, currently in his nephews office, watching as the brat who had not earned his position sat in a chair that did not belong to him.
