Rage

Emily was fuming. In fact, that did not seem enough of a description for her current mood. She was livid. Absolutely mad beyond belief. This had to be the angriest that she could remember being. And the more that Emily thought on what it was that had made her so…angry, the angrier she got.

She was fuelled by that rage as she made her way home, and when she opened the apartment door she nearly tore it off its hinges. Her mom, who was putting on her shoes in the living room looked up at the violent entrance.

"What happened to you? Did somebody spit in their tea and say it was you?" Her mom asked. Her tone half joking, but Emily could see in her eyes that she was worried.

Stomping into the apartment, Emily slammed the door closed. Then she threw herself on the couch next to her mom.
