"Hoh? Lowly human, what can you do? Apart from your paltry flawed swordsmanship." The queen of thunder remained high in the air. She stared at the "lowly" human who dared to challenge her. Yet the memories that belonged to this girl also belonged to her.
Her convincing of Mei to destroy everything would only ever have on exception. "He's not like that." Chihiro was the one person to that exception, that protection of that image Mei had in her mind. She was hesitant, her mission was to destroy the world yet the boy in front of her was the cause of that small hesitation.
Chihiro glanced up, "Mei or perhaps your alter ego? You should really get down from there. It's no good for any of us. How about we just talk?"
In an instant the Herrscher of Thunder felt a tang of disgust. This weakness, the girl liked this weak thing?"
The queen of thunder glared at Chihiro, "I have no idea why this coward even likes you. So weak that I could kill you with a snap of my fingers."
Chihiro shook his head "Mei would never do this. Hence I got to wake her up." The queen snorted with disbelief, "Then die trying and the girl will be completely broken."
However something felt off, Chihiro nodded, "Alright, I hear you Mei, I'll stop this." The queen of thunder looked shocked. "That boy can sense you?"
Chihiro grabbed Enten from the combat locker space before getting into the familiar stance. Mei herself was begging to be stopped from within the depths of her subconscious.
"You got it."

One Day Prior:
It had been a while since Mei felt better, yet that voice constantly tormented her with whispers in her ears. Yet it was also a time that she enjoyed, a new transfer student had arrived. Chihiro called her a paramecium.
Complete opposite to Chihiro in terms of demeanor but both held that unique kindness in them. Yet that voice constantly taunted her and it knew the depths of her heart. "You're a coward. If you like him then seize him by force." Chihiro remained the same, constantly dealing with a headache called Kiana.
Although he had stopped receiving meals from Mei as he thought that it'd be too much of a hassle and it'd be inconsiderate for Mei to be making food for three people. Mei simple accepted that explanation with a small pang in her heart.
"Mei, I'm so hungry~ Lunch!" Mei handed the Kiana the lunchbox while thinking about the days bygone. Chihiro had disappeared for a while only to reappear on the rooftop with them.
"Sorry I was late, I went to go grab lunch." Chihiro waved before sitting down with them. Mei glanced at him with suspicion before ignoring it. Chihiro soon grabbed a protein bar from his bag as he started nibbling on it.
"I thought you had lunch?" Mei inquired. Chihiro nodded "I did, this is just dessert. I've been keeping my meals on a nutritionally balanced plan." Kiana grinned "That's why girls that don't gain weight easily have better lives."
Chihiro smiled and shook his head "It mean's you'll slack off and lack discipline." Soon he left to go bathroom only for the loud explosion to rock the city.
A steady stream of urine continued as plops hit the water. He sighed "Why did I eat that expired bar?" He zipped up and walked out only to be met with a bunch of dead zombie looking people.
In an instant a flash of black goldfish ripped through the horde with a slash.
"Kuro, Shred"
Small guggling sounds emerged as a school of mini Kuro fish emerged and cut a path through the school.
Chihiro settled down soon before looking for convenience stores to grab some food, medicine and necessities. He unsheathed Enten once again.
In an instant the water droplets emerging form Enten increased as the small Kuro divided even further, each swimming among the droplets.
"Scatter"
Each divided and scattered to maximise the surveillance area. Enten was a blade that liked to learn, that's what the fish said. Hence, Enten's strength was not in the overwhelming firepower but rather the almost infinite adaptability in a 1v1 or situations requiring different needs.
Scatter was a derivative of shred but used for surveillance functions. However even Kuro had it's range and Chihiro had limited stamina. He would take it day by day. But his stomach growled as he sighed. He never had lunch, unlike most tropes, being an orphan meant hardship. To be frank having Mei's lunches were days of heaven.
Warm home cooked meals. Lately, money had been getting tight as his funds started drying up. Worst even was that he was fired from his job. Yet no reason was given. He was almost certain someone was behind this.
Yet he wouldn't let Mei or Kiana worry. There was no point in dragging them into his problems.
His eyes slowly closed as he watched the three fish swim around the hilt of the blade. As he fell asleep the water droplets popped and the fish disappeared as the blade sheathed with a clank.

Current Day:
In the far distance a flash of lightning appeared. Thunder crackled as he let out a heave. Kiana and Mei were both missing, his top priority right now was making sure the both of them were safe.
"Enten, Nishiki"
The zombies and honkai beasts were instantly slaughtered as Chihiro entered high speeds with being cloaked with swirls of red, white and black. A roar emerged as his head swung to look at the incoming projectile
A blast soon approached him only to be returned back.
"Aka" The beam was absorbed as Enten was coated with red water. He pointed and aimed as the beam was launched right back.
"Kuro" A huge cut launched through the beast instantly splitting it in half. The Kuro fish soon divided and spread out to surveil the area where the lightning came from while rushing there with Nishiki.
In that instant he arrived and saw an unconscious Kiana, luckily not hurt and a Mei floating high in the sky.
The unique trait of the Rokuhira Family, to hear the voices of things and an observing eye.
The queen of thunder glared at him, yet what he saw was not the queen but the girl who needed help the most.
"I hear your request Mei. You got it!"
"Enten"
