Maze(II)

These strings were directly linked to the maze because yes, the walls of the maze had the ability to move but only if he did too so in a sense, he'd be running against the world itself.

Beyond the fact that the red strings, too, had rules related to the runes that composed them, once he moved, he couldn't ever stop because as said, they were linked to the entire maze.

When he moved, the world moved and when the world moved, the strings gathered momentum that'd immediately be released if he stopped moving, effectively killing him.

So if the entire trial had to be summarised in a simple manner it'd be like this; once Adonis moved, the runes on the walls would begin to shift and the flow of the cylinders would change.

He'd have to read the intent of the runes and align his body with them as he harmonised his inner qi with the polarity of the energy of the cylinders.
