Chapter 88 Surrender

In the end, Zack ignored the silence and kept moving toward the center of the area. He felt like he had wasted too much time on that single place, and it felt like the enemy was also trying to buy time, and that couldn't be a good thing for him.

It didn't take long for Zack to find something ahead that seemed like the core of that civilization. They always had that kind of stuff… weirdly enough, the place was a tower that had some giant monolith-like things surrounding it, so Zack hesitated in getting closer to it. It was obviously a trap, after all.

Zack looked around and didn't find anyone or traces of any machines that could cause him trouble. The enemy was truly trying to lure him into that kind of trap, and it was just too obvious. Still, he didn't have a bunch of useful skills for no apparent reason.
