Shi Yan's face displayed a defiant, cold smile as he said,
"If you were involved with the threat against Yan Zhi, I'd be beating you up right now."
His words left Tang Suxin unbelievably wide-eyed in shock.
Shi Yan lowered his head and glanced at the tip of his shoe, "I thought I liked you, but, it seems that's not the case."
Tang Suxin struggled to accept it, having always considered Shi Yan her last resort.
They had grown up together, with Shi Yan looking after her for over a decade. He adored her, held her like a goddess in his palms. How could he just say he didn't like her anymore?
Tang Suxin got out of the hospital bed, not even taking time to put on shoes, her bare feet cold against the floor tiles.
Ignoring the pain in her body, she took steps towards Shi Yan.
