Michael appeared behind the two shadow beasts, his focus sharp and calm. He concentrated energy into his left hand, striking down at the shadow beast on the left. His hand pierced through its lower spine, releasing a burst of energy that split its body in two. The other beast turned and fired a red beam from its mouth at Michael, who vanished again, teleporting to its side. He launched a kick, but red bony spikes gushed out from the beast's body, forcing Michael to stop and fly back to avoid them.
"Chh," Michael grunted, firing rapid blasts of energy at the beast. The one he had struck in half had now reconstructed its body and flew at Michael, swooping through the air. Michael dodged by turning slightly to the left. The other shadow beast started shooting red bony spikes from its hands. Michael dodged and created a barrier as he flew closer to the ground.
The beasts chased after him, firing spikes that corrupted the ground, dodging the red bony spikes fired by the shadow beasts. The corrupted ground glitched and faded into red dust with each strike. Michael knew he had to end this quickly. He focused his energy, ready to unleash his next move.
The two shadow beasts closed in, their red eyes glowing with malevolence. In a swift motion, Michael flew up, evading another barrage of spikes. He charged his energy, forming a massive green sphere in his hands. With a determined shout, he hurled the sphere at the shadow beast on the left. The beast tried to dodge, but the sphere exploded on impact, sending it crashing to the ground.
The other beast roared in fury and lunged at Michael, its claws slashing through the air. Michael raised his barrier just in time, the force of the impact pushing him back. He focused, channeling more energy into his barrier, fortifying it against the relentless assault.
As the shadow beast clawed at his barrier, Michael saw an opening. He teleported behind it, his hand crackling with green energy. With all his might, he struck the beast's back, sending a powerful shockwave through its body. The beast let out a pained roar, but it quickly turned, slashing at Michael with its claws.
Michael dodged and counterattacked, his movements a blur of speed. He delivered a flurry of punches and kicks, each blow infused with energy. The beast staggered, its form flickering as the energy attacks took their toll.
Seeing his chance, Michael summoned a surge of power, his eyes glowing cosmic green. He clasped his hands together and unleashed a devastating energy beam at the shadow beast. The beam pierced through the beast, tearing it apart from the inside. With a final, ear-splitting roar, the beast disintegrated into a cloud of red and black particles.
Exhausted but determined, Michael turned his attention to the remaining shadow beast. It had managed to reconstruct itself and was now charging at him with renewed fury. Michael clenched his fists, ready for the final showdown. He could feel the energy within him, stronger than ever, as if he's getting used to walking.
"Huuuu," Michael let out a deep sigh. The beast got closer, spiky bones growing from its body. When it was near, it released a barrage of spikes in all directions, like a machine gun firing simultaneously. The sky was now filled with those spikes, covering the sun. "F***…" Michael quickly teleported way above the atmosphere. Even from that height, he saw the many red spikes falling down.
He charged down, gathering momentum. Crossing his arms, he formed a triangle using his energy. He collided with the beast through the red spiky ground, shaking the entire continent. It was like a meteor had crashed, causing an explosion and a huge crater. The earth cracked, and red lava erupted from the ground as a result of the force.
Michael got up, staggering, bloodied and bruised all over. His shirt was torn, and his pants were tattered. He panted heavily, with the beast lying on the ground, slowly fading. They were deep in the ground, looking up at the small dot where they had crashed.
"Damnit!" Michael cried, thinking he was finished. But the beast grabbed his leg as he tried to fly out, tugging him down. Its body started shaking. "Don't tell m..." Michael noticed what it was plotting, but before he could finish his sentence, the beast blew itself up, taking the entire planet with it.
