Danitz knew nothing about this.
"What were you trying to say just now?" Alice actively diverted the topic.
"Oh right," Danitz slapped his forehead, his smile becoming enthusiastic again, "Let me introduce you, this is our first mate, 'Gourmet' Bru Walls, worth 6,200 pounds."
This unusual introduction method made Alice and Bru Walls both fall silent. After about ten seconds, Alice turned her head to look at Danitz and said in an appreciative tone:
"Your learning ability is very strong."
After pausing for a moment, she turned to Bru Walls again and asked with a sincere expression:
"Is he always like this?
"Don't you beat him up?"
Bru Walls flashed Alice a polite and courteous smile, then while reaching out and pressing his hand firmly on Danitz's head, said in a gentle tone: "No, he's not usually like this. I think he's just too excited. He'll calm down soon, right, Danitz?"
Alice felt like he would twist off Danitz's head the next second.
Danitz obviously thought so too. He gave a dry laugh and said: "Haha, yes, that's right, I'm too excited."
Alice glanced at him and pouted: "Tsk, coward."
Danitz indeed widened his eyes and looked at Alice indignantly. Seeing this, Bru Walls slowly patted his shoulder twice.
Danitz withdrew his gaze again.
Alice looked at Danitz who was on the verge of exploding and decided to give him some buffer time. She didn't try to provoke him again, but instead turned her gaze to the "Gourmet" Bru Walls who was worth 6,200 pounds.
So valuable... but actually their captain is the most valuable... oh no, I shouldn't think like that! Alice tried hard to interrupt her train of thought, and Bru Walls contributed some effort to this as well: "This is our second mate, 'Singer' Orpheus."
Alice looked in the direction he was pointing and found that this person had deeply sculpted features like stone carvings and golden hair as brilliant as the sun.
After Alice looked at him, Orpheus revealed a smile, but his drooping eyelids gave his entire face a melancholic air. Alice looked at his expression thoughtfully and secretly pricked up her ears, listening carefully to Orpheus's poetic voice filled with melancholy: "In fact, I am just praising the sun.
"Unfortunately, the sunlight shines equally on each of us, and does not pay more attention to me because of my praise."
Learned another new expression... wait, which sun is he referring to? Alice stiffly and slowly twisted her neck to look in the direction of the captain's cabin, then twisted her neck back bit by bit and asked:
"Does 'Eternal Blazing Sun' know you're like this?"
After pausing for a moment, she suddenly seemed to remember something and turned her head to ask Danitz very loudly: "So you have a crush on your captain?"
The atmosphere around fell into suspicious silence. Alice swept her gaze over the silent pirates one by one and revealed an expression of sudden realization: "You, all have a crush on your captain?"
They looked at each other, first examining each other with shocked and incredulous expressions, then moving away from each other with attitudes of having been betrayed.
From their angry and vigilant attitudes, Alice realized she had probably guessed correctly.
"Golden Dream..." Alice murmured in a daze, "She is gold, and also the dream..."
"Singer" Orpheus's eyes brightened for an instant, but became confused in the next moment: "I understand now! "I should like her too!"
Alice's level of logic was as consistently puzzling as ever. After a few seconds of quiet, Danitz finally did what a "Provocateur" should do: "Aren't you secretly in love with Gelman?"
Alice fell into deep thought.
She had wanted to deny this statement, but after thinking about it, she believed that angrily denying it in this situation would only completely confirm the rumor. So she raised her head and said with a serious face: "In the distant past, in my hometown, in the place where I was born and grew up, we had such a rule.
"Monogamy, which means that a person can have one husband and one wife at the same time."
Her words successfully made everyone, including Danitz, fall into contemplation.
"This is the first time I've heard of such a place," a young man voluntarily spoke up, "Let me introduce myself, I'm the third mate of this ship, 'Flower Bow Tie' Jodeson."
Alice looked over and found that this person looked the most decent among this group of pirates.
He wore a white shirt and black vest with a flowery bow tie, looking like a not-so-proper clerk.
His appearance was far ahead among this shipful of pirates, with hair color leaning towards gold but black at the roots.
His eye color was that very linear lake green, his nose bridge was straight, his lips relatively thin, with a kind of trustworthy quality.
He met Alice's gaze, smiled slightly and then continued: "I'm worth 5,200 pounds."
Alice blurted out in surprise: "How come you're not as valuable as Danitz?"
Jodeson's smile froze on his face, and Danitz also instantly recalled the process of his own increasing value.
Alice's puzzled gaze circled between the two of them, finally looking towards Danitz who seemed to be in the know.
Danitz puffed out his chest and said:
"Don't be fooled by the fact that this guy has Sequence 6, his ability isn't really strong, just very strange.
"There was a time before when I was fighting, no, battling with him, and suddenly I couldn't use fireballs anymore, while he could imitate my fire ability."
It sounds like the ability was stolen... no, maybe it was theft.
Alice thought of the Storm Church's donation box; undoubtedly, that was stolen.
Danitz's next words quickly completed the clues: "Don't be fooled by his face, he's just a wolf fish can, full of stench!
"He used to be a playboy and a pirate, said he wanted to steal our captain's heart, but got beaten up and stayed to receive education!"
Alice looked at Danitz who seemed to feel regret about this and was silent for two seconds, then turned to Jodeson and frowned as she asked another question she cared more about: "...'Thief'?"
Jodeson looked at Alice in surprise.
Alice understood his answer. She drew in a sharp breath, glanced at Bru Walls wearing a monocle, then looked at Jodeson, and then warily backed up several steps, distancing herself from both of them.
Her behavior successfully aroused the confusion of others, but Alice just looked at Jodeson with a serious face after creating some distance: "I think you are more suitable than him... more suitable than 6,200 pounds to wear a monocle.
"Best to wear it on your right eye, this can help you quickly ascend to demigod."
