My head turned. The pit in my stomach hadn't extinguished, just the sight of that burnt down town filled me with a melancholic spirit.

Thoughts rambled through my head. My horse slowly galloped away but the bumpy ride didn't do anything, it couldn't vanquish these thoughts.

I closed my eyes, imagining the screaming deaths they had suffered. It was quite clear what had happened. Even if the scale of such was unimaginable.

Incendiary devices. Bombs. All sorts of weapons that shouldn't be possible with the level of technology we had.

And if they kept growing their arsenal it wouldn't be long until they had something I truly feared.

There was no mutual agreement like in the real world. No convention was held to limit their options. No, in this virtual world they were limited by nothing but their imagination.
