With the cage shielding him from the oppressive might of the Evil Silver Gradient, Amberser finally breathed a sigh of relief and quickly asked, "How could one directly become a deity? Isn't it too simple for a deity? Doesn't it require Aeo's permission?"
"Some planes have that rule," the God of Alchemy replied. "It's designed to prevent deities from bullying mortals. But this fellow is within my Divine Realm, so long as I don't let him out, Aeo generally won't interfere.
"Just like how Talos could easily turn a Lich into a deity back then, except from that moment on, Vishalon became his vassal and he was imprisoned in the Tower of Ruins to be enslaved. This guy is almost the same. I may have given him too much divine power which allowed him to break through the mortal limit.
"But no worries, as long as he doesn't leave the Divine Realm, he won't pose any threat."
Amberser was not as calm as the God of Alchemy and couldn't help asking, "What if he escapes?"
