Inside the restaurant.
No matter how soft the music was, it could not ease the strange atmosphere at the table.
Neither of them had expected to encounter each other in this foreign land.
Mu En sat across from Wu Jie, leaning against the sofa with a playful smile.
He still hadn't taken off his mask, and his eyes kept darting around, as if he feared being watched.
After finishing his meal, Wu Jie picked up a napkin to wipe his mouth, and grinned:
"At first glance, I almost didn't recognize you, but now that I take a good look, tsk tsk, you've lost a lot of weight!"
"It must be tough, hiding and scurrying around overseas!"
Mu En chuckled lightly, responding indifferently:
"What do you mean 'hiding and scurrying'? I'm merely traveling abroad!"
"Is that so?" Wu Jie laughed. "Then why don't you take off your mask and hat and walk around boldly, instead of skulking around like that?"
Skulking?
