Chapter 53: Scars of the Blade

The melon halves, flesh side up, were trembling nonstop. Upon a closer look, the rind of the watermelon was as thick as the pad of a thumb, and the flesh inside was half red, half white, clearly unripe!

Everyone was shocked, including the onlooking guests, Li Xingsheng's family of three, and even Su Xiaoyue's mouth hung open in a face full of disbelief!

Such a big, unripe melon had been cleaved into two by Zhao Yang in a single cut!

"Wow, that's amazing!"

Su Xiaoyue was the first to snap out of it, cheering loudly, so excited she almost jumped up. If it weren't for the crowd around, she really wanted to rush up to Zhao Yang's face and give him a big kiss.

Zhao Yang wore a cool expression, standing there with a casual air, as if he had known all along that he could split the melon in one stroke.

"How is this possible?" Li Xingsheng was completely astounded.

"Impossible!" Li Baoju yelled, "Zhao Yang, the knife in your hand must be a treasured blade!"
