Aiwass arranged a simple altar in his own bedroom and stepped onto it.
The altar had three levels, consisting of triple concentric rings.
On each of the four corners of the outermost ring of the altar, there were five rubies, five pieces of amber, five sapphires, and five emeralds, representing fire, earth, water, and wind, respectively.
And in the middle ring, between earth and water, there was a piece of ice, signifying "cold"; between wind and fire, there was a Flame Spirit, indicating "heat"; between water and wind, there was a pearl, meaning "moisture"; between earth and fire, there was a clump of yellow soil, signifying "dryness."
In the innermost ring was a round piece of yellow jade.
Symbolizing balance.
When the altar took shape, the Force of Equilibrium flowed within it—as if four-colored beams of light, like auroras, flowed back and forth, filling the room with visible phenomena.
