6: Under Attack!

I have to view on the situation outside, but from what I could visuals; it must be very rough. There were vehicles zooming past these gunshots and explosions, and probably reinforcements from both sides coming—as there were vehicles stopping from every corner. Their shouts outside echoed their way into the basement which sent a chill down my spine; whether if the foes were screaming, or my allies.

My plan was to dash outside hoping that Ms. Sato and her team will be alive, but it would be risky—as I might encounter an enemy on my way outside. Then... I'd just have to kill them mercilessly.

I rushed outside the basement which leads me to the hallway, walls were pierced due to my recent fight with that magnetic dumbass... At this location, I'd have to take the stairs up which would lead me to that hallway with doors facing each other. I rushed upstairs and ran throughout the hallway. "1, 2, 3, 4, 5. This is one comically long hallway..." I said in my thoughts as I was running past the 5th door, when suddenly a footstep echoed. I barged into the 6th room which was facing the 5th room. Judging by the footstep, it was just one foe, or could it be an ally? No no, we shouldn't assume right now, so we should keep it safe... The footsteps echoed even louder and closer; I only have to pass through 4 more rooms that parallels each other. Suddenly a rush of footsteps ran close and stopped in front of the room I'm in, could it be allies?

"One... One room... Is all I need to... kill you..." The stranger outside said.

"You are surrounded Shori... Approximately 6 men are pointing an AK-47 in this very door you are in... Once you open that door, hell fire will come." The enemy added, I analyzed my surroundings but thanks to my luck; there was absolutely NOTHING inside... No windows, weapons, secret ventilations. I was really trapped in this room I am in, luckily this door won't get barged in easily as I have barricaded it with my life... One shot at this door and I am dead.

"How do you know that I wouldn't just slip through this window right here and escape?"

"Play smart Shori. We need you alive for the lock—but it wouldn't make a change if I were to just give them your actual brain. We've prepared for this plan for decades now, your father's "architect" is also one of ours, we know every single detail of this house." Seems like the enemy has been preparing for this moment for a long time now. Guess I'd just have to trick him.

"Are you sure? Did you really-"

"This manor has 5 floors, plus one at the attic, and another floor at the basement, a total of 7 floors, each room in every floor is subtracted by 2 every time you go up, the first floor has 10 rooms, leaving the second floor to have 8 rooms. We know every little detail in this very own manor of your dirty father Shori." It seems like there's probably to escape anymore...

"Okay okay...! So what do you suggest I do...!?"

"Tell me how to open the safe, maybe I'd give you a painless death"

I sat there in silence for a whole 5 minutes thinking of what I should do. It seems hopeless.

"Answer me..." I was too consumed on my mind on producing a plan that I couldn't hear the foe outside; I was ignoring him without my knowledge.

Another 5 minutes had passed, I heard the man making some impatient grumps.

"You leave me with no choice" A gunshot fired, what was that? Allies? Warning shot? I couldn't clear my mind as it surprised me, well I also can't make a sudden escape through the door as there were 6 men aimed down at the door...

As I was hiding beside the door, my back leaned against the wall, I suddenly kneeled down losing my balance, I grabbed my chest tightly, the scenario was too sudden, now I was gasping for air like trying to breathe with a straw, my head was lightheaded as well; feels like the room is spinning. I can't focus, fuck! What is happening right now, does have one of those abilities!? Shit! Even though I let go of my hand that was grabbing my chest, it still feels tight; like an invisible hand gripping it.

Could the enemy's ability be to control the air pressure? My ears started ringing; everything I hear is distorted and muffled. This room that I was hiding in had an eerie atmosphere.

"Shori, there's no way you could've escaped..." Said in a muffled and distorted voice.

My eyes were stringing and had a searing burning sensation; a moment passed and sticky tears ran down from my face, were my eyes bleeding...? The situation was beyond serious now—as I felt that same sticky liquid ran down from my ears and nose. Blood streamed from my eyes, nose, and ears—vital parts damaged beyond reason. It was just perfect.

Muffled voices from outside, I couldn't understand it as my ears were partially dead. Another gunshot fired, blood came out gushing from my ear.

In a blink of an eye, I felt a sharp pain throughout my body, my arms had holes in them, it was indescribably painful, although—I kept silence even with the immense pain, I had to take a gamble that the enemy thinks that I had escape as that was my only plan. Everything I see was red; maybe due to the fact that blood was covering my eye.

How did I get all these holes on my arm? Did the air pressure lowered to a maximum a human body could take and retained back to a minimal lowered air pressure to keep me paralyzed; but give me these holes? That might not be possible... Could he have other abilities too? Just what is that bastard planning to do?

"Shori, if you are truly there, speak. Or I will be filling that very room that you're in billions of air bubbles ready to enter your vein." SHIT! This is fatal! He made these holes for the entry of air bubbles inside my veins! This could lead to my very death! I covered the holes with my limitations, 2, 4, 6, 7 holes cannot be covered, shit.

I felt a round solid object creeping up on my arm, it made its way inside one of the holes in my arm, I then checked what was happening, inside one of my veins was a small marble? No... It was the air bubble making its way in, shit! I used my alternative finger to push it back, but to no use, it just kept on going. I had to deal with the billions of air bubbles first, I calmed myself first, took a deep breath; even though it seemed unrealistic, air flow went into my lungs. I used my hands to alter the flow of the air bubbles; making them form into one. I couldn't believe that it actually worked though, I focused suddenly on the air bubble inside my vein, I calmed myself again and pushed the air bubble out using my finger.

Now that everything had been taken care of, what's left is him entering this room to check if I had escaped.
