Watching An Hao's gaze settling, Qin Jian followed her line of sight.
Cheng Yue sat alone in the corner eating noodles, a bottle of baijiu on the table as he poured and drank by himself.
He appeared to be in a poor state and mood.
An Hao and Qin Jian exchanged glances, debating whether to greet Cheng Yue when he had already caught sight of them.
Carrying the wine bottle, he staggered their way and plunked down across from Qin Jian and An Hao, chuckling foolishly.
"Cheng Yue, what's happened to you?" An Hao asked, looking at him with concern.
Though he chuckled, the sadness in his eyes was impossible to hide.
"Little junior sister… brother-in-law…" Cheng Yue slurred.
"Who's your brother-in-law?" Qin Jian frowned, raising his hand to pat his face, "If you can't hold your liquor, don't just drink...
"Who said I was drinking recklessly! I wasn't… Drinking has its reasons…" Cheng Yue shouted, slapping the table.
